摘要:
The goals of the Heliosat Project of Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Paris are: (i) to design a system for the estimation of incident solar radiation at ground level from images of the Earth acquired by geostationary satellites, (ii) to produce detailed maps of the spatial distribution of the global radiation and (hi) to improve the system depending upon the results and progress in science.

摘要:
The design of solar systems and the determination of cooling and heating load of buildings require information on global radiation in addition to other meteorological data. In this study, equations have been developed for the clearness indexKT, which is the ratio of monthly average daily values of global radiation to that of extraterrestrial radiation on a horizontal surface, as a function of the ratio of monthly average daily values of sunshine hours and day length. The extraterrestrial radiation and the day length can be calculated from Eqs. (5) and (3) respectively. The sunshine hours can be obtained from the meteorological station of Singapore. A reasonable estimate of monthly average daily global radiation can be obtained from these equations.

摘要:
Over the last few years photovoltaics has become a mature product. In all countries around the world, photovoltaic consumer products and remote power systems have been sold in increasing numbers representing a total of 100 MW. Generally speaking, photovoltaics is currently the cheapest power source up to an installed capacity of a few kW. Many rural needs for lighting, telecommunication, water and health care are in that power range. Therefore, applications and use of photovoltaic systems have a particular appeal for developing countries. But also in industrialised countries, photovoltaics is a key option for decentralised power generation.

摘要:
We draw attention here to several important details of a discharge deposition apparatus, and to how these can affect him quality. In addressing why these details are important, we will suggest some reasons for how and why film quality depends on deposition conditions, and what might be done to improve both film quality and deposition rate. We concentrate on what appear to be three major causes of poor film quality: deposition of microparticulates, ion bombardment of the growing film surface, and growth by sticky radicals (radicals with a high sticking coefficient to the surface).

摘要:
A concept of the convecting solar pond with the multilayer surface insulating system which is transparent to solar radiation but opaque to infrared radiation is proposed, and its transient thermal characteristics are discussed by solving time-dependent energy equations using meteorological data from several locations in Japan. It is shown that the convecting solar pond reaches a quasi-steady periodic state after three or four years of operation and that its thermal performance is comparable with that of the salt-gradient solar pond.
