摘要:
For the biosynthetic preparation of14C-erucic acid (C21H41COOH) by means of rape plants cv. sollux the plants were supplied with14CO2and additionally fed with14C-Sodium acetate after anthesis. After saponification of the extracted lipids the erucic acid was isolated and purified. The substance was identified by gas chromatography. The incorporation of the applied radioactivity (34 MBq14CO2; 37 MBq14C-natrium acetate) into the fatty acids amounted to 1,2 per cent. The eruric acid could be isolated from the fatty acids mixture with a specific radioactivity of 1,001 MBq/mmol and a purity of 97,2 per cent.

摘要:
The use of dexamethasone (DXM) as a generally applicable blocking agent in steroid RIA was investigated. Precision of estradiol (E2) and testosterone RIA systems was much improved after treatment with DXM. Addition of DXM reformed the standard curves made in hormone free serum (HFS) matrix. Accuracy as percent recoveries of E2spiked in HFS were 115.7 ± 71.2 and 107.4 ± 14 for direct and after addition of DXM, respectively. For T assay these values were 54 ± 23.1 and 103.3 ± 9.5. Direct E2and T RIA using DXM in control serum samples of low, medium, and high levels gave comparable values to solvent extraction. DXM was found to be a potent blocking agent in steroid RIA.

摘要:
Bioluminescence reactions of ATP (/AMP) with luciferin/luciferase were measured in a luminometer. The enzymatic ATP synthesis is described by a Michaelis-Menten kinetics. The inhibiting effect of AMP is investigated in presence of AMP in ATP bioluminescence reactions.

摘要:
In laboratory tests a method was developed for a non-contacting moisture gauging on conveyor belts of different materials like coal, clay, industrial slay and stones of inflating clay. The moisture was measured with an241Am-Be-neutron source, the absolute necessary determination of the changing flow of material was made with the gamma rays of137Cs or241Am. The analysis of the records shows, that to all measuring values mathematical defined curves could be found, so that methods of calculation for the moisture content could be deduced. The maximal obtainable accuracy is about ±0.5 percentage by weight. With the industrial slay and the stones of inflating clay supplementary tests were made direct on the conveyor bell. They shows, that also in the practice good results can be obtained.

摘要:
The effects of storage temperatures on the track registration of CR-39 as a solid state nuclear track detectors have been investigated. The results show that the storage CR-39 detectors cause partial or complete removal of tracks depending on storaged time and temperatures. The bulk activation energy for CR-39 has been found to be 0.883 eV.
