Stoffwechseluntersuchungen mit14C- und T- sowie doppeltmarkiertem 9-Hydroxyfluorenyl-(9)-carbonsäure-n-butylester bei Hordeum vulgare ergaben, duβ der Wirkstoff im aromatischen Teil nicht verändert wird. Es konnte eine, Spaltung der Esterbindung nachgewiesen werden, die wahrscheinlich eine physiologische Reaktion darstellt. Ein Metabolismus ist im Alkoholteil nachzuweisen, der nach Hydroxylierung in glykosidischer Form vorliegt. Als Modellreaktion wurde die Hydroxylierung des Wirkstoffes mit Mikrosomenpräparationen aus Rattenleber untersucht. Die dabei auftretenden Umwandlungsprodukte sind auβer 9-Hydroxyfluorenyl-(9)-carbonsäure nicht mit den in unseren in vivo-Versuchen identisch. In einem Langzeitversuch konnte gezeigt werden, daβ der Wirkstoffspiegel vor allem innerhalb der ersten 20 Tage in den Pflanzen signifikant absinkt; ein Groβteil wird in nichtextrahierbarer Form festgelegt.

A precise and accurate method is being developed for the determination of T3/T4ratio. This method depends on using serum of different thyroid cases for the assesment of T3/T4ratio. It has been found that the best temperature of storage is 0.0 °C to 4 °C before extracting the iodinated tyrosines and thyronines.

Die Arbeit beinhaltet Untersuchungen von Parametern, die die Bestimmung der Schilddrüsenbelastung beeinflussen. Unvermeidliche Fehler im Reproduzieren der Meβgeometrie und eine Mittelwertannahme für die Dicke des die Schilddrüse überlagernden Gewebes führen zu Fehlerbreiten bei der Bestimmung des Jod·Depots von ±40% für125J und ±22% für131J.

Die spektrale Abhängigkeit der UV-Photostimulation wird an CaF2-TL-Dosimetern untersucht. Die Peakhöhe nach der UV-Photostimulation huvnimmt nur in einem bestimmten Bereich linear mit der Bestrahlungsdauer tuvzu. Die spektrale Charakteristik der UV-Photostimulation von natürlichem CaF2besitzt bei 280 nm ein ausgeprägtes Maximum.

Für einen speziellen technischen Anwendungszweck, bei welchem85Kr-Konzentrationen von weniger als 10−5μCi/cm3in Gasproben von 40 Ncm3nachzuweisen sind, wurde eine Meβeinrichtung konzipiert und aufgebaut. The separation factor of deuterium (α) for the exchange reaction between hydrogen and water vapour at 100 °C has been measured and was found to be equals to 2.52 and 2.50, depending on the used experimental technique.

For mass spectrometric measurements of δ31S, pure sulphur hexafluoride was prepared quantitatively from different mineral sulphides by the reaction with elemental fluorine under pressure. The results of δ31S measurements on SF6samples were confirmed by comparison of δ31S values with the classical method leading to SO2. Numerous mass spectrometric measurements of SF6and SO2with regard to the experimental conditions of the synthesis, the influence of background, memory effect, and adsorption were made. The measurements of small isotopic variations of sulphur with SF6has advantages in comparison to the SO2technique. The method described can be successfully used for routine work.
