Preparation of human serum albumin microspheres of well defined particle size distribution using a spinning disc aerosol generator has been investigated by the authors. A set up is described for bulk preparation of microspheres suitable for lung imaging. A simple procedure for denaturation of the microspheres by direct oven heating has been standardised. Methods for Tc99mlabelling of these microspheres with high radiochemical yield and purity have been studied. Uptake and clearance of the labelled microspheres have been followed in experimental animals. Histopathological examination has been carried out to confirm biodegradability and safety of the microspheres. The microspheres have shown excellent lung uptake and have been found to be very safe for administration.

Es wurden papier- und dünnschichtchromatographische Methoden zur Bestimmung der radiochemischen Reinheit von99mTC-Generatoreluat unter Benutzung von reduziertem hydrolysiertem Tc und verschiedenen Tc-Komplexen als Modellverunreinigungen methodenkritisch untersucht. Den Ergebnissen zufolge und wegen praktischer Vorzüge wird die Dünnschichtchromatographie auf Kieselgel mit Methylāthylketon als besonders geeignet angesehen.

The exposure of32P-Leptophos on thin layers of silica gel to UV- and sunlight led to the degradation of the insecticide. The oxon, desmethylleptophos, desbromoleptophos, O-methyl phenylthiophosphonic acid and phenylphosphonic acid were identified.

Die Anwendung adaptiver Meβprinzipien gewinnt in der Prozeβmeβtechnik zunehmend an Bedeulung. Im folgenden wird ein Prinzip zur Glättung der Schwankungen des stochastischen Meβsignals radiometrischer Flächenmassemeβgeräle (FMM-Geräte) mit Hife adaptiver Filter beschrieben, wodurch die Einstellzeit ohne störende Vergröβerung des statistischen Meβfehlers um mindestens eine Gröβenordnung verringert werden kann.

Die Messung von53Fe im Flüssigszintillationszāhler bringt gegenüber der Messung mit konventionellen Meβplätzen eine wesentliche Steigerung an Empfindlichkeit und Genauigkeit. Diese Tatsache ist bei Tracerversuchen besonders wichtig. Die automatische Quenchkorrektur wird jedoch bei waβrigen Proben infolge zeitlicher Instabilität der eisenhaltigen Lösungen gestört. Es wird ein spezieller LSC-Cocktail angegeben, der diese Probleme beseitigt. Um Inhomogenitäten in der Probenzusammenselzung zu erkennen, wird zur Beurteilung des Meβwertes die Doppelverhältnismethode herangezogen.
