摘要:
The separation of carrier-free90Y from90Sr by solvent extraction with di-(2-ethylhexyl) phosphoric acid (HDEHP) in dodecane has been investigated in this study. The extraction equilibrium time, the effect of temperature, concentration of extractant, and hydrochloric acid concentration on this extraction system were examined. Based on the studies, the chemical procedure for the separation of carrier-free90Y from its parent90Sr have been established. The chemical yield of90Y is about 80%. Meanwhile, the90Sr impurity is less than 1×10−6% and the trace of extractant presented in the final product can be removed by fumed with HNO3. Consequently, the preparation of millicurie of90Y is quite satisfactory for the adsorption in microsphere resin for radiotherapy applications.

摘要:
A weak emission of fast neutrons during the long-duration loading of a massive palladium cylinder with deuterons is observed. The experimental results are discussed in the frame of a plasma-like model of nuclear fusion in condensed matter, resulting in fusion rates per interacting pair of. This effect is also discussed relative to the behaviour of an other, similar cathode, which was charged simultaneously with the one described in this paper.

摘要:
A systematic study was performed on the extraction and separation of uranium-cerium and thorium-cerium pairs for HDEHP from pure hydrochloric and sulphuric acid solutions as well as from their binary mixtures. The effect of water miscible alcohols and actone on the separation of these elements was also investigated. The separation of uranium and thorium from macroamounts of cerium can be best achieved from. 2.4 M HCl in presence of 50% isopropyl alcohol. There are other media plausible for the separation of trace cerium from uranium and thorium matrices.

摘要:
Eu(III) extraction by DHDECMP has been studied from aqueous solution of perchlorate and nitrate. In case of perchlorate the distribution of Eu was found to be first power dependent on pH and third power dependent on extractant concentration. From nitrate it was found that D for Eu(III) is also first power with respect to pH but second power dependency on DHDECMP. The reaction mechanisms have been suggested and discussed in the light of the data obtained. The effect of adding some electron donor compounds decreases the extractability of DHDECMP for Eu(III) but does not change the nature of extracted species. The equilibrium constants of all the extracted species have been calculated and discussed. The extractant behaves as a chelate in low acidic media and extracted complex species is suggested to be Eu(NO3)2DHDECMP·DHDECMP from nitrate solutions.

摘要:
The effect of absorbed dose on the absorption spectra of arsenazo-1 solutions at different concentrations and different pH,s was investigated. Increase of absorbed dose was found to decrease absorption at characteristic peaks. Decolouration yields (G-values) were calculated for the different solutions. The radiolysis of arsenazo-1 solution was also investigated in presence of varying concentrations of methyl alcohol. Using competition kinetics, degradation mechanism was discussed.

Outdoor lysimeter experiments were carried out to elucidate the effect of 4 inorganic and 3 organic salts on60Co and134Cs uptake and dry matter yield of three cuts of clover in the soils of Inshas. A new concept was proposed for assessing the difference in capacity of soil to supply radionuclides to plants as affected by applied inorganic or organic compounds. A relation of plant tissue radionuclide content with time can be expressed in an exponential equation with corresponding regression coefficients. When the same plant species is grown on the same soil differing only in the applied compounds (e.g. Fe-EDDHA, Fe-DTPA, Fe-OAC, Fe(COO)2, Al(OH)3, Ca(H2PO4)2, Fe2O3) the derived equation will change. Differences of either Co or Cs accumulation with time between control and any other treatment were evaluated. The data also show that Fe-DTPA is preferred for60Co as enhancing compound for plant uptake (for decontamination use), compared with other applied salts, on the other hand, any tested salts did not significantly effect134Cs taken by clover. It was also found that more than 70% of the total cobalt uptake was accumulated in the roots which indicate that Co is less mobile in plants than Cs.

摘要:
222Rn dissolved in drilling fluids of the KTB (Kontinentales Tiefbohrprogramm der Bundesrepublik Deutschland) pilot hole has been determined using solid state nuclear track detector (SSNTD) technique:The α-sensitive SSNTD CR-39 was used to measure the a-activity of222Rn. Well-defined conditions for Rn-measurements could be established by employing a mica nuclear track microfilter to separate the detector containing air volume from the volume containing the water. This technique has been applied to determine quantitatively the222Rn-concentration as a function of depth of the borehole down to 4000 m.

摘要:
By induced fission track uranium mapping of a zircon crystal from the Kirchberg granite (Western Erzgebirge) different U concentrations in the core and an outer zone have been determined. The U concentrations in the core and the outer zone differ by a factor of 12. The estimated partition coefficient between zircon and a granitic groundmass amounts to K ≃ 1800. From these data the concentration of U in the progenitor of Western Erzgebirge, Older Granite Suite, was deduced to be 0.7 ppm.
