Vor 200 Jahren wurde das Element Uran durch M. H. Klaproth entdeckt. In verschiedenen Angaben zum Entdeckungsjahr können recht unterschiedliche Jahreszahlen gefunden werden. Es wird gezeigt, daβ nur der 24. September 1789 als eigentliches Entdeckungsdatum angeshen werden kann.

Wenn auch dem natürlichen Uranoxid, dem Uraninit, die Hauptrolle bei der Gewinnung von Kernbrennstoff zukommt, so ist die immer gröβer werdende Zahl sekundärer Uranminerale – Oxidation UO2zum UO3mit anschlieβender Hydratation – nicht nur von mineralogischem Interesse. Die leuchtenden Farben dieser Minerale erleichtern die Prospektion und manche von ihnen sind lokal wichtiges Uranerz. Beschrieben werden neue Uranerzvorkommen, neue Minerale des U4+und U6+sowie eine Übersicht über die Welturanproduktion von 1986 und 1988 gegeben.

The extraction of uranium as well as Eu-(152 + 154), Co-60, Ru-103 and Cs-137 by di(2-ethylhexyl) phosphoric acid (HDEHP), tricaprylmethyl ammonium chloride (Aliquate-336) and tricapryltertiaryamine (Alamine-336) in kerosene from aqueous nitrate medium of constant ionic strength, 0.6 (H+, NaNO3) was investigated. The aqueous phase used is a representative medium for certain medium level waste (MLW) solutions. The obtained results indicate that HDEHP system is more suitable for the separation of U(VI) and Eu(III) from Ru(III), Co(II) and Cs(I). Using HDEHP loaded on XAD-4, chromatographic extraction was applied successfully for the recovery of uranium and Eu(152+154) from the aforementioned solution.

摘要:

Various natural and treated clays as well as some synthetic exchangers have been used to remove UO22+from aqueous solutions. Different factors which affect the adsorption process such as time, pH, competing ions … etc were studied. The mechanism of adsorption was found to be under film diffusion control. It was concluded that the naturally occuring clays are suitable as adsorbent for UO22+and their capacities are comparable, if not better than those treated clays or synthetic exchangers.

This paper presents results of a study carried out in order to estimate the uranium isotope fractionation234U/238U in groundwater from laboratory experiments. Matrix rock from borcholes in a Triassic sandstone aquifer and a Pleistocene sand aquifer was leached with 1 N HCl, 0.1 N HCl and deionized water.

Zur Bestimmung von Stoffverteilungen auf austenitischen Stahloberflächen wird ein spezifisches Nachweisverfahren, das eine Kombination aus Radionuklidtracertechnik und Autoradiographie darstellt, vorgestelit. Das Verfahren schlieβt zahlreiche Schritte ein, die erstmals im Zusammenhang beschrieben werden. Der Vorteil der Methodik gegenüber anderen Oberflächenanalysemethoden besteht im wesentlichen im geringen apparativen Aufwand bei der Ermittlung von örtlichen Verteilungen, wobei das Untersuchungsmaterial nicht zerstört wird. Die untere Nachweisgrenze für die Flächenmasse von Stoffverteilungen ist FGrenz= 0,1 ng · cm−2und das laterale Auflösungsvermögen beträgt 10 μm. Es kann ein Konzentrationsbereich auf der Probenoberfläche erfaβt werden, der bis zu vier Gröβenordnungen beträgt. Zur Anwendung kommt das Verfahren vor allem bei der Bestimmung von Schadstoffen auf der Oberfläche von Stahlbauteilen, die in technischen Anlagen eingesetzt werden.

In exposing cellulose nitrate CN85 plastic films to alpha particles derived from a241Am source, track diameters were measured with regard to different annealing temperatures. The results have shown that the diameters of the tracks are decreasing when the annealing temperatures are increasing.

A method for the preparation of137Cs ceramic pollucite source core is presented. The amount of cesium introduced into formed zeolite pellets is 30%wt. The transformation of zeolite loaded with cesium into the pollucite was investigated thermoanalytically. The structure of the obtained pollucite was determined by the X-ray diffraction method. The leachability and vaporization of cesium from the obtained ceramics was investigated.

Preparation of ceramic pellets containing fixed promethium-147 is described. Incorporation rate of147Pm into the ceramic material was determined. The leachability and vaporization of promethium from the obtained ceramics was investigated. The ceramic pellets prepared by the described procedure, mounted in special holders, can be applied as point sources in beta backscatter thickness gauges.
