Some examples of application of the mathematical flow model proposed by Wolf and Resnick for the glass melting process optimization have been presented. The model description of the process was verified experimentally. The tracer selection criteria have been discussed. The method of radiotracer injection and the detection – recording apparatus have been described. The examples of parameters' values of the tank furnaces operation have been calculated. Tank furnaces of different design and final product were considered. Some general conclusions as well as technological recommendations formulated on the grounds of radiotracer investigations and with use of complex flow model of the molten glass have been presented.

In this paper has been showed that on the base on the model of interaction between the particles fluxes emitted from gravity centre of spherical source and the plane which is in a distance r from this centre is possible to derive the dependences between the area under photometric curve and the radioisotope concentration or particle diameter. There has been showed also the experimental verification of these dependences by use as the “point” sources the spherical particles of ion-exchange resin with isotope141Ce.

摘要:

Neutron activation technique was used to determine trace elements in ferrosilicon alloy, cassiterite, chromite, galena and pyrite. The obtained results were compared with those from conventional methods. The comparison shows to some extent an agreement in both, but the detection lower limit of some elements in case of NAA is far better than in the others.

Two years ago a radiometric ash content measuring facility at the filling station of the Nochten open-cut mine were handed over to the user after having been tested successfully. The design of the facility comprising the coal sampling, crashing and feeding units, the measuring belt, and the radiometric scatter transmission equipment is described. Measuring and operating are given showing a high benefit for the user.

Measurement of gastric emptying of a radiolabelled solid food is described. A procedure enabling the assessment of background radiation, and connected with it corrections of the parameters characterizing gastric emptying curves are discussed in detail. Considering background radiation,99mTc-DTPA and99mTc-HSAM are shown to be equivalent as solid meal markers in the studies of gastric emptying. Correction for background can be neglected, has the background/total count ratio been sufficiently reduced.
