The prototype of a thermal diffusion column for the use as basic unit in a N14N15cascade is described. The hot wire separation column consists of a brass tube of effective length of 250 cm and inner diameter of 10 mm. Four columns are connected in series on a square cascade, the separation factors of which are compared with the values obtained by other investigators.

An a.c. bridge thermostat, using two thermistors mounted in two opposite arms as temperature sensing elements, is described. The unbalanced bridge voltage is rectified, after a previous amplification, by a phase sensitive detector, and it is applied to the input of the final stage which controls the heater. The thermostat can be used to maintain the temperature of a liquid bath with a 0.0005°C precision and can be easily reset to different temperatures in the operational range of the thermistors.

Es wurde ein Trennverfahren ausgearbeitet, das es gestattet, die Aktivitätsausbeuten für Mono-, Di- und Triphenylantimonprodukte sowie für nicht organisch gebundenes Antimon in neutronenbestrahlten Phenylantimonverbindungen zu bestimmen. Zur Überführung der verschiedenen Produkte mit gleicher Phenylgruppenzahl am Antimon in eine bestimmte chemische Form wir eine Oxydation oder Reduktion durchgeführt. Als Trennmethoden werden Extraktion, Anionenaustausch und Al2O3-Chromatographie benutzt. Ein Trennschema für die Aufarbeitung folgender bestrahlter Verbindungen wird angegeben: PhSbO, (Ph2Sb)2O, Ph3Sb, PhSbO(OH)2, Ph2SbO(OH) und Ph3Sb(OH)2.

In this paper the existing methods of evaluating the effectiveness of mixing processes are presented. Starting from the results of experiments based on the use of isotopic technique, a new criterion for the mixing effect of the component flowing through a tank has been found. For this reason, model tests in aerated rooms have been carried out. Properties of the new criterion as well as the relationships to the existing methods of evaluation are given.

On a étudié le comportement biochimique de l'or colloídal radioactif198Au à usage thérapeutique, diagnostique et lymphographique dans les tissus des souris et rats blancs. La rėpartition des colloides de l,or radioactif a été étudiée dans les tissus des souris blanches (Cæur, foie, poumons, reins, rate) ainsi que l,élimination de l,or colloidal par voie urinaire soit de différentes charges de production, soit en fonction du temps de vieillissement. La pureté radiochimique et la valeur du pH ont été suivies simultanément. La taille des particules colloidales de l,or radioactif à usage thérapeutique et diagnostique a été déterminée (d=200…3 Å). La pureté radioactive de l,or colloidal198Au a été aussi étudiée.

Es wird eine neue Modifikation der99mTc-Markierung des Albumins mit hohen und reproduzierbaren Ausbeuten beschrieben. Dabei wird die Möglichkeit der Bildung eines underwünschten99mTc-Komplexes gezeigt, der das Endprodukt verunreinigt. Die Herstellungsmethoden für Albuminmakro- und -mikroaggregate und die wichtigsten Organ-Halbwertzeiten der einzelnen Präparate werden angegeben.
