This paper rewiews the research in the field of radiopharmacology of metal-ligand-complexes with radioactive central ion in the last ten years. The investigations, carried out mainly in close cooperation between radiochemists and nuclear medicine physicists, intended the elucidation of mechanisms which are responsible for the tumour accumulation of radioactive metals like67Ga,167Tm,169Yb or90Y, injected as metal-ligand-complexes. Improvement of tumour scintigraphy by means of such complexes was the practical background of our investigations. The ratio of tumour/background radioactivity obtained using these compounds depends on their biokinetics, the mechanisms by which they are accumulated in tumour tissue, and the transport processes in blood. To investigate these problems we studied possibilities to influence the biokinetics of radioactive metals, applied as metal-ligand-complexes in order to optimize the radioactivity concentration in tumours in comparison with those in other body tissues. At present we attempt to exploit our results for the therapeutic use of metal ligand complexes by testing therapeutic effective radionuclides as central ions in the complexes.

摘要:
The process for catalytic radioiodine labelling of m-iodobenzyglunidine is described. This labelling procedure will be used in the routine-production process. A radiochemical yield below 80% is obtained at 100°C within 15 min. Separating unbonded iodine−131I the radiochemical purity is more than 98‰. After labelling the solution is made isotonic and brought on a pH of 5.5–6.5. By sterile filtration an injectable solution is obtained.

摘要:
The Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) investigations made on technetium compounds (99Tc) are reviewed. Different measuring modes are used: liquid solution, frozen solution, diamagnetically diluted powders and single-crystals. Also double resonance and pulse techniques are applied. The spectra obtained are discussed according to the oxidation state or the metal, the cordination geometry and the bonding properties of the complex molecules. Further on, it is shown that EPR is a suitable method for monitoring chemical reactions in which Tc2+or Tc6+compounds are involved.

摘要:
Reaction of tridentate dithiole ligands (HS–CH2–CH2–X–CH2–CH2–SH. (HSXSH) X = O, S) and monothioles R–SH (butylmercaptane, thiophenoles, and mercaptoacetic acid ethylester) with Tc(V) gluconate yield neutral oxotechnetium (V) complexes TcO(SXS) (SR). Technetium complexes of the individual ligands are found as by products. The reaction was carried out at “carrier-added” level (Tc = 2×10−4mol.l−1) and the reaction products were identified by tlc. The compounds are lipophilic, having octanol/water partition coefficients lg D = 0.78–1.34. Organ distribution studies in rats were estimated.

In preparation for PET imaging of ischemic myocardial regions, the uptake of 218F-fluoro-2-deoxy-D-glucose (FDG) in the isolated perfused rat heart was studied under normoxic and hypoxic conditions. With this model we were able to demonstrate an about 2.5 fold higher uptake of FDG in hypoxia compared with the normoxic heart. FDG uptake is considered as a measure for glucose utilization; hence the higher uptake in hypoxia points to an increased glucose metabolism. This was to be expected because in hypoxia the main energy source of the normal well-oxygenated myocardium, the free fatty acids, cannot be oxidized, and the myocardium is forced to utilize glucose via the glycolytic pathway.

摘要:
Using the earlier investigations into the fission-product separation from irradiated uranium-targets, a special irradiation capsule equipped with U3O8-impregnated ceramic target, which allows transfer of the fission-heat preferentially by radiation, was developed. In the irradiation experiments it was demonstrated that a target temperature desired is adjustable in the range from 1100 to 1500°C by variation of the target parameters resp. neutron flux density. The fission products, released from two target-types during irradiation by this method, were detected by a remote-controlled dissolution process in the capsule. The values obtained as the fractional release of 5 fission products can be applied to the development of a new thermal process for the production of fission molybdenum.

In the Central Institute of Nuclear Research Rossendorf (CINR) a special solvent extraction procedure has been developed for recovery of residual uranium from waste solutions of fission molybdenium-99 production. After an inactive test period the corresponding facility was put into operation in September 1985. 摘要:
The distribution coefficient of some lanthanides such as europium, terbium and thulium was studied using inorganic ion exchangers, zirconium titanium phosphate and zirconium phosphate silicate. The separation studies were carried out from hydrochloric and nitric acid aqueous solutions. From th distribution coefficient data, the monochloride and mononitrate complexes stability constants were calculated.

摘要:
The water diffusion into plastics by means of autoradiography was studied. Water labelled with tritium diffused into glass fibre inforced polyester resin specimens under different conditions. Using a specially developed tritium autoradiography method the depth distribution of this diffused water can be found out. The autoradiograms were evaluated by the DENSITRON 4 image analyzer. The technique of this evalution is described and the results are discussed.

Reconsidering the numerous conceptions as they have been developed in atomic physics (self-consistent field), heat and charge transport theory (carrier-enhanced and radiation-induced conductivity) and many other related fields for iteratively solving the corresponding integro-differential equation systems we come now to propose a new approach to the subject addressed in the title. This method has been implemented in a FORTRAN code, allowing for a self-consistent solution of kinetic equations on a quite broad scale. However, in treating a particular problem (irradiated semiconductor, ionisation gas detectoed etc.) it appears recommendable to employ a confined specialized version. Model calculations of a (a.c. or d.c. driven) gas ionisation chamber have been carried out to demonstrate the systematizing potential of the present approach.
