A theoretical model is worked out for calculation the minimum provable concentration at activation analysis under optimum measuring conditions. Expressions are drawn for calculation the minimum activity which can be proved for different lifetime of the obtained radionuclides and in dependence of the background – the detection efficiency, the given statistical error or confidential probability and the measuring time at our disposal. Formulas are given for optimum distribution of the measuring time at disposal.

Adsorption of Telluric, phosophoric and molybdie acids alumina was affected by irradiation of oxide in the nuclear reactor. Main changes include reduced adsorption capacity and lowering of pH values of aqueous suspensions of alumina. Both were reproduced by using nonirradiated alumina treated with 2.7x10−1M HCl. Induced acidity of alumina could be decreased by irradiation without free access of the surrounding atmosphere to the samples. The presence of an inert gas ensures efficient protection of alumina.

131J-markierter HSA-Mikrosphären vier definierter Partikelgröβen wurden tierexperimentell an Ratten untersucht. Bei einem Durchmesser >2 μm erfolgt eine bevorzugte Lungenspeicherung, unter 2 μm werden die Teilchen besionders durch das RHS der Leber und Milz angereichert. Der Aktivitäsverlust wurde bis zu einem Zeitraum von 72 h verfolgt. Eine eingehende Klärung des Metabolismus steht noch aus.

Nach einer kurzen Beschreibung der derzeitigen theoretischen Grundlagen für die Bestimmung des Wertes für den gesättigten Ionisationsstrom z. B. in Druckluftkammern wird eine neue empirische Methode angegeben, welche sich der unabhängig Veränderlichen U−xbedient. Nach Einführung relativer Gröβen für die Kehruwerte von Strom und Spannung und Beschränkung auf ganzzahlige Vielfache der Maximalspannung, u, kann man mit Hilfe einer beigefügten Tabelle der Werte (10/u)xden gesuchten Extrapolationswert der Stromspannungskurve rascher und bequemer errechnen als auf die bisher übliche Weise.
