摘要:
Since 1967 a Co-60-irradiator of 20-kCi-range has been the technological basis for different irradiation tasks at the Technical University of Łódź. To study the structure of the dose rate distributions in the whole irradiation chamber an evaluation by means of several series of dosimetric measurements with different methods and computer calculations was done. The essential parameters of the experiments and calculations are discussed. Based on the good agreement reached some experience of the evaluation process is summerized. The structure of the radiation fields is illustrated by some graphic representations.

Recent achievements of the most important methods of spent nuclear fuel analysis (mass spectrometry, gamma spectrometry, alpha spectrometry, spectrophotometry, X-ray fluorescence) are briefly reviewed. Especial emphasis is given to burnup determination and to the valuable output of spent fuel composition studies for the calibration of burnup calculation models and for nuclear safeguards (isotope correlation techniques).

摘要:
Simulating solutions of medium active borate waste from nuclear power plants are dried and immobilized in epoxy resin, phenol formaldehyde, polyester and poly methyl methacrylate. Thermogravimetric and differential thermogravimetric measurements are given for pure unloaded thermoset and thermoplastic polymer samples and compared with the thermograms of the same polymers loaded with 50 wt-% of dried waste powder. The aim of work is to study the effect of incorporated waste on the thermal properties of different organic polymer matrices.

摘要:
The theory of nuclear fission is considered. The relation between the single particle potential of the asymmetric two-center shell model and the collective coordinates in the fission theory is studied. Theoretical expressions are developed to show the dependence of the coordinates of the centers of the two centers oscillator on the various collective parameters. Numerical calculations are carried out using the present obtained theoretical expressions. From these calculations, the dependences of the different oscillator frequencies on the collective coordinates are investigated. The present study shows the great importance of that dependence in the nuclear fission process.

摘要:
For the production of the99Mo, the homogenity of the axial distribution of235U is a quality criterium for the production technology of the target fuel rods. The qualitative testing of the235U distribution is carried out by an automatic instrumentation by means of gamma ray measurement. The qualitative determination of the fluorescent radiation measurement was calculated by the determination of the uranium contents of calibration rods with the following separate analytical methods: X-ray fluorescence analysis, colorimetry and potentiometric titration. The accuracy of the determination of uranium by the method of gamma ray measurement is ≦ 1.5% uranium per centimeter of the target fuel rod.

摘要:
During the last years an extended application of thermoluminescence dosimetry (TLD) i.e. for purposes of large scale personnel monitoring could be observed. The reasons for this development are the advantages of TLD as well as the introduction of microcomputer controlled TL-read out instruments. Consequently, there is a growing tendency towards automation. In this paper the design of a microcomputer controlled TL reader and its operational modes are described. Additionally a performance test of this instrument is given regarding the IEC document 45 B (Secr.) 77.

摘要:
The ash content of coal can be determined using the pair production technique based on the simultaneous measurement of the annihilation radiation and compton scattered radiation. The proper correction of the influence of changes in mass per unit area with reference to the measured intensities is an important problem using this technique. It can be solved using the time interval distribution method. The application of this method allows the correct determination of the normalization factors needed. The solution of this problem is an important supposition for application the pair production technique on conveyor belts without any coal preparation.

摘要:
The results of radioactivity measurements in the air of Prague after the Chernobyl nuclear power plant accident are summarized for the period of April 29 till May 10, 1986. Three separate periods of the transfer of contaminated air masses through the territory of Czechoslovakia, differing both in total activity level as well as in individual radionuclides content were indicated. Maximum of air activity at about 210 Bq·m−3observed in region of Prague between April 30 · and May 1 differs greatly from levels measured in neighbouring countries and is discussed in relation to the trajectory lines of contaminated air masses over the west Europe.
