摘要:
In a paper published in the JOURNAL OFRHEOLOGYSheppard and Houck showed that certain solvent combinations of non‐polar and polar liquids produced solutions of cellulose esters which gave purely viscous flow. It was argued that this indicated that the dispersion of these substances had been carried to molecular dispersion, the crystallites indicated by x‐ray examinations being reduced to molecular entities of the long chain, primary valence type.

Sorensen (1917) in a classical series of papers has studied the methods of preparation, chemical composition, chemical and physical‐chemical properties of albumin isolated from egg white.
