摘要:
AbstractStudy of plants from Scotland recently referred toBryoerythrophyllum jamesonii(Tayl.) Crum shows that they are distinct fromB. jamesoniiand allied S. American and Asiatic taxa and are therefore described as a new species,Bryoerythrophyllum caledonicumLong sp. nov. The history of this species in Scotland is outlined, with a discussion of differences between it and its allies.

摘要:
AbstractAnomodon rostratus(Hedw.) Schimp. is reported for the first time from Belgium at Rochehaut (Semois valley) in the south of the Ardenne massif. Only female plants were observed, growing in dense patches at the base of a shadowed subvertical cliff of CaCO3-rich lower Devonian shales. This locality is far outside the known distribution area in Europe.

摘要:
AbstractBased on a study of the type material ofCampylopus pyriformis(Schultz) Brid., var.azoricus(Mitt.) Corley has proved to be identical with var.pyriformis.FurthermoreC. pallidusHook. f.&Wils., a species widely distributed in the southern hemisphere, is identical withC. pyriformis. The disjunction southern hemisphere-Europe is interpreted as the result of introduction in Europe.

摘要:
AbstractA new species,Nanobryum thorsbornei, is described from northern Queensland, Australia, and compared withN. dummeri, an African species to which it seems most closely allied. They both have a remarkable persistent protonema which is partly pseudothallose but the leaves of the Australian species are trilobate, a feature lacking in the African species. The relationship ofNanabryumwithFissidens, particularlyF. gladiolus, is discussed.

AbstractSyrrhopodon fimbriatulusC. Müll. is reported new to New Zealand on several specimens from the Coromandel Peninsula, North Island. This is the first record of the genusSyrrhopodon, and of the family Calymperaceae, for New Zealand. The species is otherwise known from Australia.Syrrhopodon cairnensisBroth.&Watts is a synonym. A synopsis of the Calymperaceae known from the New Zealand Island Territories is given.Calymperes aongstroemiiBesch.,C. tenerumC. Müll. andMitthyridium parvifolium(Bartr.) H. 摘要:
AbstractThe marked differences betweenPlagiochila spinulosa(Dicks.) Dum. andP. killarniensisPears. pointed out by Paton (1977) are confirmed and added to by further ones. As a result the two species are placed in different sectionsSpinulosaeandZonatae, respectively. For each of the two species the full synonymy including new synonyms and new lectotypifications and a comprehensive list of studied specimens and a distribution map are presented. In appendix,P. porelloides(Torrey ex Nees) Lindenb. is recorded from Madeira, a species new to Macaronesia.
