ABSTRACTPulmonary paragonimiasis is a parasitic lung disease of dogs and cats caused by the trematodeParagonimus kellicotti.The disease is encountered most frequently in the Southeastern and Midwestern regions of the United States. The radiographic appearance of pulmonary paragonimiasis is that of multiloculated cysts in dogs and interstitial nodules in cats. Spontaneous pneumothorax is common in both species. Recognition of the characteristic pulmonary lesions on thoracic radiographs justifies repeated faecal examinations in order to findParagonimusova to confirm the diagnosis. ABSTRACTCysts which arise from the anterior uveal pigment epithelium often pass through the pupil into the anterior chamber of the eye, and there remain as noticeable but asymptomatic floating structures. Adhesion to the corneal endothelium would appear to be a most unusual occurrence and, in this paper, the sequential appearance of the cornea is described in two such cases.

ABSTRACTThis cat was first presented with a history of vomiting and seizures. Signs of exercise intolerance and right‐sided cardiac failure later developed. Diuretic and cardiac glycoside therapy temporarily improved the condition. When terminal decompensation became apparent (6 months later), euthanasia was suggested.
