摘要:
The new diplopod tribe Strongylomorphini (fam. Chelodesmidae) is proposed for the two Brasilian generaStrongylomorphaandBrasilodesmus, characterized by the distal torsion of the solenomerite and form of the apical end of the prefemoral process, of the male gonopod.Strongylomorphahas been of uncertain status since 1897, but study of its type species shows the name to be a senior synonym ofErythrodesmusSilvestri, 1902,NeocamptomorphaSchubart, 1954, andCamptomorphoidesSchubart 1962. Drawings of the gonopods are given for several old species, made from Iectotype specimens, and a list of the names considered referable toStrongylomorpha. The new speciesBrasilodesmus austrocrucisis described from Santa Catarina, Brasil.

摘要:
Age and age classes inAkodon olivaceus brachiotiswere determined by means of a modification of the method used by Sluiter (1961) to quantify tooth wear. Ten age categories were obtained. From April to July the population was mainly composed of young animals. From November to March the population was heterogeneous due to the coexistence of new‐born animals and animals born in the previous reproductive season.
