摘要:
Bekanntlich steigt die Kaltsprödigkeit von FeSi‐Legierungen mit dem Si‐Gehalt, was die technische Nutzbarkeit auf Legierungen mit weniger als etwa 3,5% Si beschränkt. In dieser Arbeit werden die Einflüsse auf die Kaltsprödigkeit untersucht und im einzelnen die folgenden Gefügeparameter untersucht: Legierungszusammensetzung, Korngröße, Ordnungszustand.

The equilibrium grain boundary segregation of phosphorus was investigated in Fe–P–C, Fe–P–B and Fe–P–C–B alloys after austenitising at temperatures ranging from 825–1100 °C. The grain boundary concentrations were determined by Auger electron spectroscopy on intergranular fracture surfaces. Phosphorus, carbon and boron segregate to the austenite grain boundaries. The segregation of P in austenite occurs mainly in equilibrium, but some additional segregation takes place during quenching. Boron and, in a lesser degree, carbon were found to decrease the grain boundary concentration of phosphorus. The results can be explained by assuming equilibrium segregation and mutual displacement of these elements in austenite.

Cold‐rolled microalloyed steels have proven themselves in many applications. Here microalloying fulfills different metallurgical functions that can be used to produce high‐strength or very mild deep‐drawing steels. This article studies the recrystallization behaviour of microalloyed steels during anneals performed in the laboratory and in the production shop. The delay in recrystallization compared with unalloyed steels can be explained by the amount and distribution of precipitated carbonitrides and also by dissolved microalloying elements. The mechanical properties of the cold‐rolled, high‐strength steels are determined mainly by grain refinement and, depending upon the annealing process, to a smaller extent by precipitation hardening. With complete fixation of all the interstitial atoms and, at the same time, minimization of the amount of precipitates very mild special deep‐drawing steels can be made.

摘要:
Welding is always accompanied by a heat treatment of the base metal. The heat affected zone (HAZ) of multilayer welded joints often shows different microstructures along the fusion line due to varying heat treatments. In order to investigate the mechanical properties of single microstructures weld simulation treatment was applied. The influence of weld simulation parameters such as heating rate and peak temperature was checked in a preliminary step. Several weld simulation treatments finally were used to explain the behaviour of real welded joints. A comparison of fracture mechanics test results from weld simulated microstructures and from real HAZ's shows good agreement for equal heat treatment conditions.

The influence of the local constraint in the near field zone of cracks in terms of the parameterσm/σv= f(r, θ, s) on fracture initiation and fracture resistance is investigated for several crack configurations in specimens and components. Experimental results from various authors are compared with corresponding numerical findings. Methods to transfer test results obtained for specimens to more complex situations in components are reported.

摘要:
The development of steel grade up to X 80 quality was shown explaining metallurgical mechanisms used for thermomechanically rolled steels with improved toughness behaviour. The influence of the reduction of C‐content for these TM‐steels on the field welding behaviour was discussed. The development of steels with improved resistance against sour media was presented, showing the influence of purity degree, Mn‐ and C‐content in combination with the steelmaking practice. The influence of residual stress on the SSCC resistance of SAW pipe was pointed out and a heat treatment process was presented reducing the residual stress and resulting in crack free spiral welded pipes under the most severe test condition of NACE‐solution with pH‐values of 2.7–3.5.
