摘要:
The various kinematic effects of special relativity are here treated by considering iterations of the infinitesimal Lorentz transformation. There is only one relativistic effect that appears as a difference between an infinitesimal Lorentz transformation and the corresponding infinitesimal Galilei transformation; this effect is the relative character of simultaneity. When this has been introduced by a physical argument (following Einstein), finite transformations and the other effects are obtained by iteration. Special attention is given to an iteration procedure that reveals the existence of the Thomas precession.

摘要:
The elementary properties of relativistic spinors of first rank are developed geometrically, on the basis of the idea that the space in which they reside is either the positive or the negative branch of the light cone. As an aid in the development, the Lorentz transformations of points on the light cone are first studied in considerable detail.

摘要:
There is a continuing national need for trained physicists and citizens who understand the ways of the physicist and the nature of his contribution. This need can be met if physics teachers undertake to change teaching and curricular practice. One direction of the change which might be made is indicated.
