摘要:
The social and emotional problems of learning disabled students are described, and research is presented that substantiates the interactional role of the family in these problems. The literature suggests that the family is one of the more crucial determinants in the growth and development of children with learning disabilities, but it has frequently been ignored in terms of treatment planning. The purpose of this article is to review some of the major personal and social issues facing learning disabled students and to suggest ways that school counselors and mental health workers can work with families of these children for remediation purposes.
