This study revealed that a disproportionately large amount of class time in religious studies departments at public institutions is devoted to the teaching of Christianity and Judaism, and that a Jarge percentage of instructors in those departments hold professional theological degrees.

摘要:
The article titled “Squirrel on the Campus” is the first fiction piece to be included in the section called “Fiction and Poetry.” This piece has been included in the same spirit in which poetry has been included as a part of this professional journal. Ways of knowing and learning are varied as are the ways of sharing knowledge. The editor believes that this article speaks to issues that may have meaning for our readers, counselors, and educators in the real world. Although the language and style may not be appropriate for an article in other sections of this journal, as is the case of poetry, if seems appropriate here. For instance, the article contains some sex‐role stereotypic language and perhaps portrays stereotypic behavior. These qualities have been left not to offend or promote but rather to reflect a part of our world that does exist, which is important to the intent of the author in looking at our world and finding meaning in it. The Editorial Board is most interested in receiving your comments about this article and about the concept of including fiction in this journal.
