Jungian individuation offers a research framework replete with rich images and concepts. This study explores the influence of deity images upon the individuation of women who are taking a university course. Three teaching strategies that appear to foster individuation are discussed. Case studies of three women are presented to illustrate the conceptualization of individuation and the teaching strategies.
