摘要:
From the theory of long-time tails in the velocity autocorrelation function, a definition of hydrodynamic modes is proposed in the frequency spectrumg(ω) = ω2limk→ OSs(k, ω)/k2whereSsis the self function, accessible by incoherent neutron scattering. Consequences for the relation between self-diffusion coefficientDand shear viscosity η are presented.

摘要:
Excess volumes for binary mixtures of tetrachloroethylene with hexane, heptane, cyclohexane, methylcyclohexane, toluene, bromobenzene, chlorobenzene and nitrobenzene have been determined dilatometrically at 303.15 K. The measuredVEvalues are negative for the mixtures of tetrachloroethylene with hexane, heptane and nitrobenzene and are positive for the systems containing cyclohexane, methylcyclohexane and toluene. In case of tetrachloroethylene + bromobenzene and + chlorobenzene systems inversion of sign ofVEis observed. The data are interpreted in terms of (1) loss of dipolar association, difference in size and shape of the molecules and (2) specific interactions between unlike molecules.

摘要:
Isobaric bubble temperature data were collected for the system phenol-i-propanol over the entire composition range by indirect method using a standard Swietoslawski type ebulliometer. The measurements were made at 209, 412 and 711 mm Hg. The experimentalt-xdata were correlated with both Gamma-Phi method and equation of state method. In the former approach, Wilson, NRTL and UNIQUAC equations are used whereas in the latter case Soave equation of state is used.

摘要:
A conventional nonelectrolyte solution which has led to successful predictive expressions for the thermomechanical properties of a solute in simple binary solvent mixtures is extended to ternary systems havingACandAC2molecular complexes. The general mixing model used assumes that the Gibbs free energy of mixing and excess volume can be separated into a chemical and physical contribution. The chemical interaction term results from the formation of molecular complexes and the physical contribution describes nonspecific interactions between the uncomplexed and associated species in solution. TenAijparameters are initially needed to describe all binary nonspecific interactions present. Simplifying approximations and mathematical manipulations reduce the number of binary interaction parameters to only 3Aijvalues. Expressions derived from the general mixing model are used to estimate excess volumes of ternary acetone + cyclohexane + chloroform mixtures.

摘要:
Measurements of the dielectric properties of CuSbSe2in the solid and liquid states were carried out in a wide range of frequencies and temperatures. The material displays dielectric dispersion and a loss peak was observed. Cole-Cole diagrams have been used to determine the distribution parameter (α) and the molecular relaxation time (τ). The process of dielectric relaxation (loss) and ac conduction was attributed to the correlated barrier hopping model suggested by Elliott for amorphous solids where two carriers simultaneously hop over a barrier between charge defect D+and D−states.

摘要:
The critical micelle concentration, degree of dissociation, dissociation constant and thermodynamic parameters for dissociation and micellization processes for calcium myristate in a mixture of chloroform and propylene glycol of varying composition and different temperatures were evaluated from the conductivity measurements. The results showed that these soaps behave as weak electrolytes in dilute solutions and the values of the CMC increase with the increasing temperature. The ultrasonic measurements for calcium soaps have been carried out to determine the CMC, soap-solvent interaction and various acoustic parameters. The results showed that the ultrasonic velocity, specific acoustic impedance, apparent molal compressibility and molar sound velocity increase while the adiabatic compressibility, intermolecular free length and solvation number decrease with increasing soap concentration.

摘要:
A formula is proposed for the deviation δRHof the Hall coefficientRHfrom 1/nec. Knowledge of the first-order density matrix characterizes the formula. With strong electron correlation, δRHwill depend on the discontinuity of the electron momentum distribution at the Fermi surface, as well as on the strength of the electron-ion interaction in the liquid metal.
