Relationships among transport parameters and the mean square composition fluctuations as determined by measurements of the chemical potentials are described for a variety of binary liquid metal alloys. The measurement of the chemical potential is described and the thermodynamic basis for the analysis given in terms of the concentration correlation functions as well as more traditional thermodynamic parameters. Alloys involving group IIIAmetals with Te are used as an example

The influence of charge fluctuation modes on the frequency spectra for shear viscosity, self-diffusion and thermal diffusion is discussed. Both the one-component plasma, and modifications which are anticipated in real ionic liquids to the charge fluctuation modes, are considered. The latter treatment utilizes a simple model into which is incorporated plasmon dispersion and plasmon damping, the damping being both at zero wave number k and at order k2

摘要:
Several combinatorial factors entering into expressions for the distributions of molecular sizes in random polyfunctional condensations have been derived, including cases treated previously by Stockmayer and Flory. The simple method used in these derivations seems capable of extension to other related problems.

A method for generating interionic potentials from solid state data including ionic radii is presented. A set of potnetial with different ion sizes is fitted to KI data and the changes in some of the static and dynamic properties of the corresponding molten salt are discussed. The effect of density changes in molten KI on these properties is discussed
