摘要:
Laparascopic cholecystectomy is the current standard of care for acute cholecystitis. Biliary leak resulting from common or hepatic bile duct injuries is a well-know complication. The authors report an atypical appearance of a biliary leak into the gallbladder fossa, simulating the normal anatomy and physiology of the gallbladder, which in the absence of clinical history was initially interpreted as normal by a nuclear medicine physician. This case emphasizes the importance of obtaining accurate clinical history prior to interpreting scintigraphic studies
