摘要:
AbstractThe angular dependences of photoemission are measured in Bragg diffraction of X‐rays on germanium and silicon crystals covered with amorphous layers of various thickness. The functionK(z) – the integral of electron escape probability versus generation depth – is obtained from the experimental data. The escape depth is found to be substantially lower than the estimates often used whereasK(z) is satisfactorily described by Liljequist's theory. In the photoeffect technique, the depth of the explored layer depends on the primary‐to‐secondary electron recording efficiency ratio. The capabilities of two methods of deep scanning – by changing the initial energy of electrons by a variation of the radiation wavelength and by means of the escape energy selection of electrons –

AbstractRaman scattering measurements in the tetragonal Cd3As2single crystals are carried out at temperatures of 300 and 77 K. The spectra obtained are interpreted in terms of phonon‐electron and electron‐electron interactions. The features in the low‐frequency interval are due to contributions from phonon and single particle scattering. The electronic RS involving intra‐ and interband excitations is dominant at frequencies higher than 80 cm−1. The resonant enhancement of the band at 300 cm−1arises from the incident light frequency being in the vicinit

AbstractIt is shown, that the increasing dielectric tail found recently for decreasing impurity concentrationNiin the incommensurate system K2ZnCl4does notindicate the existence of an intrinsic chaotic state. Using a simple model for the pinning of solitons by impurities (but more realistic than those used previously in this context) it is shown, that the dielectric tails grow with growing soliton densitynsbut with droppingNi. The precise dependence onNidepends on the pinning mechanism (i.e. weak or strong pinning).

AbstractThe structural disorder model, recently proposed by the authors to explain the thermodynamic properties near the transitions of first order, is generalized to include the pressure induced transition in the semiconductors Ge and Si. The calculated values show at least a in order of magnitude agreement with the experimental data.
