摘要:
AbstractThe vibrational excitations of the various fluorine hydrogen complexes, and the polysilane‐like conformations in amorphous silicon are studied after employing a valence force field mode1 (VFFM) in a cluster Bethe lattice formulation. The calculated high frequencies are seen to be in excellent agreement with the infrared and Raman data. Some calculated peaks appearing at 214 and near 600 cm−1have not been detected so far. More experimental measurements on a‐Si : F : H alloys need to be performed especially in the low‐frequency region ≈600 cm−1to detect the predicte

AbstractTwo‐ and three‐body interactions in f.c.c. metals are derived from the general Morse potential. These interactions are employed to develope the dynamical matrix, which involves only three force constants. AbstractThe propagation of acoustic phonons in GaAs generated by laser radiation of a clean as well as Au coated surface are experimentally investigated in dependence on the crystallographic orientation. The angular dependence of the T1phonon spectrum is confirmed by comparison with the calculated focussing factor.
