摘要:
AbstractSolid Ne condensed at a temperature of 7 K is excited with a pulsed electron beam. The resulting emission spectra are recorded during the excitation pulse and in the time range from 0 to 2.3 ms after excitation. Relative contributions from the different vibrational levels are fitted to the Ne 2*emissions, measured at various times after the excitation. A nearly constant contribution from the 0th vibrational level is found which can be explained by complete relaxation of the 0u−excimer state. The degree of relaxation and the decay time of the luminescence contributions from the higher vibrational levels change within the 2.3 ms. It is proposed that the lustate of Ne emits from lattice sites at one vacancy, two vacancies, and from regular lattice si
