摘要:
Invertase biosynthesis in Saccharomyces cerevisiae 01K32 cells after alcohol fermentation using cane molasses has been carried out. At TRS concentration of 4%, a maximum degree of intracellular invertase production (140–150 E/g) has been reached for 6 hours. The sugars induction effect in molasse medium is registered to the 3% concentration in case of using for invertase biosynthesis the strain only. A two-stage culture of the strain examined has been carried out in a bioreactor and a four times increase of intracellular invertase activity has been reached.

摘要:
A modification of amino groups of chitosan were performed in two directions: treatment of vicinal amino and hydroxyl groups by periodate and subsequent interaction with urea and formaldehyde in order of covalent immobilization of enzymes; alkylation of chitosan amino groups for increasing the positive charge and utilization of polymer as an anion exchanger. The binding of enzymes: lipase, trypsin, penicillin amidase and glucose oxidase to the activated matrix was done at pH 4.0, 5.0 and 3.5 respectively. The immobilization of lipase was performed at pH 4.0 and 8.0. The immobilized enzymes were characterized by their pH optimum and relative enzyme activity. The alkylation of the amino groups has been achieved by varying the modifying agent (formaldehyde in the presence of formic acid) to the chitosan. The ion-exchange properties of the ionite obtained was verified by means of ovomucoid, a protein with improved acidic characteristics.

The growth experiments in which plant cell suspensions of N. tabacum 1507 and L. vera MM were cultivated in two-phase systems were carried out in order to select the best phase formulation ensuring culture growth. The highest growth observed for N. tabacum 1507 occurred in 5% PEG 6000/10% dextran 70 000. The overproduction of extracell phenolic compounds from both cell cultures in the formulated two-phase systems was investigated. The best two-phase system ensuring higher production of phenolic compounds from both cell cultures is 4% PEG 20 000/7.5% dextran 70 000. The plant cell suspensions of N. tabacum 1507 produced 0.171 g dm−3total phenolic compounds in this system (against 0.028 g dm−3from control fermentation). In the same two-phase system, the plant cell suspension from L. vera MM produced 0.387 g dm−3total phenolic compounds (against 0.058 g dm−3from control fermentation). In both cases the phenolic partitioned mainly in the top phase.

The influence of new synthetic auxin hydrazide of 4-chlorophenoxyacetic acid (H-4-CPA) and cytokinin 1-(3-chlorophenyl)-3-[2-(4-methyl)pyridyl]-2-urea (3-CP-4-MPU) on the growth of callus tissues from tobacco was investigated. The substances were applied exogenously to the autoclaved nutrient medium independently and in combination at both concentrations: 0.5 mg/l and 4.0 mg/l. 3-CP-4-MPU (0.5 mg/l or 1.9μM) manifested higher growth stimulating effect than kinetin (0.2μM—standard I). Kinetin at concentration 1.9μM equimolar to that of the used phenylurea cytokinin inhibited the growth of tobacco calli. The high concentration of 3-CP-4-MPU (4.0 mg/l or 15.2μM) stronfly reduced the fresh and dry weight, therefore the phenylurea cytokinin is an inhibitor for this plant system at concentration 8-fold higher than that of kinetin. H-4-CPA increased the tobacco callus growth at both used concentrations. The simultaneous application of 1.9μM 3-CP-4-MPU and 2.5μM H-4-CPA to tobacco callus accelerated its growth while the higher concentrations of both compounds (15.2μM 3-CP-4-MPU + 20.0μM H-4-CPA) inhibited the biomass accumulation.

摘要:
The effect of four routine methods of preservation of bacteria (in Dorset medium, under mineral oil, freeze-drying, cryoconservation in liquid nitrogen) on the biochemical characteristics of 11 E. coli strains from the collection of NBIMCC, was followed up. After 1 and 3 years of preservation, half of the strains changed their biochemical activity, 33 % of the parameters examined having turned into negative. The biochemical characteristics of the strains studied turned out to best preserved in Dorset medium and under mineral oil. Freeze-drying is appropriate for long-term preservation but it requires additional following up of the biochemical parameters.

摘要:
The influence of five combinations of nutritive medium and DMSO on the growth and the biomass of plantlets of Paulownia tomentosa were investigated. The main purpose was to optimize the nutritive regime in the pots during the starting phases of its adaptation in vivo. Best results were achieved when agent DMSO in 10.10−4M was applied alone and in combination with nutritive solutions. The above growth was vigorous and the under-ground one was moderately developed.

摘要:
The need of precisely registration and punctual documentation of the bioenergy therapeutic effect phenomena (biotherapy) has been motivated. The results from the effect of sensitive on patients with different diagnoses are analysed. Summated positive therapeutic effect (PTE) is observed for 78.73 % of the treated persons. PTE is presented also per the different diagnoses. The comparison is made between the subjective evaluations of the patients and the objective evaluations of the physicians concerning the therapeutical results. The dependence of the therapeutic effect from the number of sessions, as well as from some other factors is considered.

摘要:
Recent scientific studies in microwave field have shown that microwave sterilization can be a new method in future. In this study, the destruction of L. monocytogenes in lamb and quail meat were observed. Conventional and microwave heating systems were used. The results of two heating systems were compared according to control group and between themselves. It was observed that microwave heating is more effective than conventional heating to eliminate L. monocytogenes.

摘要:
Experimental results of the control of the ammonia concentration during the growth phase of a PHB producing process in a fedbatch reactor are presented. The control design is based on the mass balance dynamical equations and does not require any knowledge of the process kinetics. It results in an adaptive linearizing controller where the specific growth rate is estimated on-line. Moreover the value of the controlled variable, the ammonia concentration is given by a software sensor via an asymptotic observer based on the on-line measurement of the optical density.
