摘要:
A molecular mechanism of somaclonal variation is proposed Oxidative stress caused by altered oxygen regime, the disturbance of the normal antioxidant status and the presence of strong prooxidants in cell culturing media are suggested to be the main reasons of the variations. Primary, secondary and final products of lipid peroxidation caused by oxidative stress can be directly responsible for plant genome instability. The proposed mechanism of somaclonal variation could be the basis for development of new biotechnological approaches to this process.

摘要:
The possibilities for direct regeneration in vitro from hippocotyl-cotyledon segments ofGlycyrriza glabra L.grown on different media (MS, DS and WPM) were tested. The maximum regeneration capacity, this means 73.08% explants forming buds and 5.7900.6 the mean number of shoots produced per one explants, was found on DS medium supplemented with 1.0 mg/l BA and 10.0 mg/l adenine. This difference is considerable according to Duncan's multiple range test. The hormone free medium provided a 100% rooting of shoots and 85% survived under in vivo conditions.

摘要:
Light and electron microscopy of immobilized system of theClaviceps sp.strain in Ca-alginate reveal some peculiarities in the growth and morphology of the cells as compared to the free ones. The immobilized cells develop mainly in the surface and subsurface layer of the alginate beads. Cells of differing physiological state are observed. Higher is the number of the sclerotia-like cells and of the arthrosporoid-like structures.

摘要:
Spores ofHumicola lutea120–5 were entrapped in calcium-alginate beads and were cultivated to form an immobilized mycelium used further for acid proteinases production in batch mode. The enzyme yield increased with the repeated cultivations reaching a maximum after eight cycles. The half-life time of enzymes production was achieved by twelve reuses.
