摘要:
Argyranthemum coronopifolium(Willd.) C. J. Humphries, a rare endemic of Ten–erife in the Canary Islands, has a disjunct distribution which coincides with the two largest Tertiary basalt massives, Teno and Anaga. No morphological differentiation was found between the Teno and Anaga populations. The disjunction is believed to be due to barriers caused by lava flows in the intermediate region of North Tenerife.A. coronopifoliumis shown to be hybridizing with the widespreadA. frutescens(L.) Schultz Bip. in both Anaga and Teno. The hybridization was analysed phenetically by Wells' distance method and principal coordinate analysis. Geographical barriers between the species are shown to be broken down by road side immigration ofA. frutescensinto the area ofA. coronopifolium, and the possibility of swamping is discussed. The trend of increasing hybridization is connected to the development of tourism in the Canary Island

摘要:
The systematic position of the genusMicrolecane(Sch. Bip.) Benth. within the Coreopsidineae (Compositae–Heliantheae) is reviewed. It is found to be congeneric withBidensL., and the three ‘species’ described for it are transferred to this genus.Microlecane abyssinica(Sch. Bip.) Benth. ex Oliv.&Hiern isBidens setigera(Sch. Bip.) Sherff andM. occidentalisHutch.&Dalz. becomesB. occidentalis(Hutch.&Dalz.) Mesfin, comb. nov.M. carinataHutch., based on three syntypes, is shown to be heterogeneous. Two of the syntypes belong toCoreopsis schimperiO. Hoffm. (nonBidens schimperiSch. Bip.) for which the nameB. carinataCuf. ex Mesfin has recently been proposed. The third syntype ofM. carinatabelongs to a completely unrelated species. Brief historical notes, typifications, descriptions, notes on distributions and habitats, and distribution maps are pro

摘要:
A revision of the generic limits betweenTriplarisandRuprechtia(Polygonaceae), which were confused in earlier literature, led to the conclusion that the two genera should be maintained.Triplarisis characterized by 1–flowered pistillate partial inflorescences, absence of a basal pedicel–like extension of the fruiting perianth–tube, which is always as long as or longer than the achene, bracteoles completely fissured on the abaxial side, and sessile or subsessile male flowers with perianth segments always connate for more than half of their length.Ruprechtiahas 2–3–flowered monochasial pistillate part–inflorescences (except the 1–floweredR. triflora), a basal pedicel–like extension of the fruiting perianth–tube, which is at most 3/4 as long as the achene, more or less tubular bracteoles only exceptionally fissured down on the abaxial side, and pedicellate male flowers with perianth segments never connate for more than one third of their lenght. Preliminary paly–nological studies have shown that the pollen ofTriplarisare microreticulate or punc–tate–microreticulate whileRuprechtiapollen have perf

摘要:
An account is given of the morphology and the taxonomy of the Asian, Australian and Pacific genusArchidendron(Leguminosae – Mimosoideae). A new infrageneric classification based on morphological data is presented, the genus being subdivided in 8 series. The phylogeny of the genus is discussed, the base of discussion being all available morphological, palynological and wood–anatomical characters. The presence/absence of stipules, the length of the staminal tube compared with that of the corolla–tube, the sessile/stipitate ovary(–ies), the morphology of the pods and the wood–anatomy have been particularly useful in determining the evolutionary trends within the genus. Analyses of the geographical range of selected character states are presented. The data suggest a Central – W. Malesian origin of the genus. The series endemic to the E. Malesian – Australian area have probably evolved more recently. The pluricarpellate condition of the flowers in several species endemic to the E. Malesian and Australian area is considered to be a derived character state. The following new taxa are proposed: Ser.CalycinaeNielsen, ser.PtenopaeNielsen, ser.BellaeNielsen,Archidendron falcatumNielsen,A. cockburniiNielsen,A. sabahenseNielsen,A. fagifolium(Bl. ex Miq.) Nielsen var.borneenseNielsen,A. kunsrteri(Prain) Nielsen subsp.ashtoniiNielsen,A. ellipticum(Bl.) Nielsen subsp.cordifoliolatumNielsen. New combinations are proposed in the Malesian species formerly referred toAbarema, ZygiaandMorolobiumby Kostermans. Keys to and an enumeration of the species

摘要:
Ultrastructural differentiation in the shoot apex of growing vegetative buds ofSalixwas studied, and some micrographs analysed morphometrically. The distribution of inorganic phospahte (P;) was analysed cytochemically. A distinct histological zona–tion was observed in the apex. The relative volumes of nuclei and plastids were significantly higher in the central tunica zone than in the peripheral one. The corpus differed from the central tunica zone by significantly lower volume density of nuclei and higher of vacuoles and mitochondria. During differentiation of the rib meristem vacuole volume increased significantly, while the relative volumes of nuclei, mitochondria, nucleoli, and heterochromatin decreased. It was not possible to decide whether the vacuoles originate from ER or GERL. Morphogenesis of chloroplasts with large starch grains and grana from proplastids was evident in the rib meristem; dedifferentiation to S–plastids was found in the protophloem. Prolamellar bodies were observed in the procambium plastids. The protophloem was characterized by P–protein and spiny vesicles. Piwas found in the nucleoli of most epidermis cells, several procambium cells, and a few chlorencyma cells, but never in the tunica of the growing apical and developing lateral buds. Pialso occurred in some plasmalemma–somes and occasionally in the walls in connection with plasmo

摘要:
The only monocotyledonous families that take members ofDiplonaeviaSacc. (=MerostictisClem.) are found to be Juncaceae, Cyperaceae (Caricoideae–Caricieae andTrichophorum) and Poaceae (especiallyNardus). The presence or absence of stromatic, clypeus–like tissues is studied in several species and found to be very variable not only from species to species but also within individual species. The patterns of variation exhibited by the excipulum, the asci and the spores are also discussed. No less than ten species are known to grow on Juncaceae, eight onJuncusand two onLuzula. D. helicospora(onJ. trifidus), D. hyperborea(onJuncussubgen.Alpini) andD. savilei(onL. arctica) are new species. New combinations areD. antaretica(Dennis) Nannf.,D. junciseda(Schroet.)
