摘要:
Some additions and corrections to earlier papers are given, including two proposed new species and three new records for Thailand. An alphabetic enumeration of the 999 taxa of orchids so far recorded from Thailand is supplied, with indications in broad lines of their occurrence inside and outside Thailand.

A revision is presented for theAeollanthus abyssinicusgroup. Two new species,A. caudatusRyding andA. namibiensisRyding are described.A. lobatusN. E. Br.,A. stuhlmanniiGiirke,A. abyssinicusHochst. ex Benth.and A. pinnatifidusHochst. ex Benth. are also treated. Typifications, descriptions, notes on distribution and habitat, maps and keys are provided for all species. The structures of pericarp and testa are studied in detail in all species.

摘要:
The delimitation of the generaObetiaGaud.,LaporteaGaud.,DendrocnideMiq., andUreraGaud, is outlined on the basis of herbarium studies. It is shown that two species from Madagascar hitherto believed to belong toUreraare more likely to be members ofLaportea. The new combinationsLaportea humblotii(Baill.) Friis (forUrera longifolia)andLaportea oligoloba(Baker) Friis are made. The two transfers underline the importance of Madagascar as the most prolific centre of endemism for the genusLaportea.

摘要:
The vegetative architecture ofFlickingeriais modular, consisting of three kinds of shoots of determinate growth. Species differ with respect to extent of branching and length of shoots, but branching is normally restricted to a few particular buds, the potential of which depends on their position. All inflorescences are axillary, although some appear to be terminal. Inflorescences subtended by foliage leaves are displaced into a cavity in the stem, emerging on the abaxial side of the leaf base. The peripheral layers of the stem covering the inflorescence bud may be conspicuously extended and dry up so as to resemble a bract. The arrangement of the inflorescences is a distinctive specific character within the genus. A hypothesis for the evolution of character states is established. The growth and flowering strategy is discussed.

摘要:
Apart from the presence of a capillitium, the fructifications ofListerella paradoxaJahn resemble those of some species ofLiceaSchrad. Similarities exist in general appearance, mode of dehiscence, structure of peridium, and sculpturing of spores. The capillitium ofListerellais attached near the margins of the peridial lobes, and the moniliform threads are extensions from pillars from which the threads sometimes break. Aberrant capillitial outgrowths may be reminiscent of the processes bordering the peridial lobes inLicea.Although mostly found on podetia of the lichen genusCladonia, Listerellamay also occur on other substrates. A large–spored specimen developed on an oak leaf in California falls within the intraspecific variation ofL. paradoxa.LwtereWa–resembling species ofLiceamay also occur onCladonia. An x–ray analysis did not reveal any Ca or other elements with an atomic weight equal to or above that of Na in peridium, capillitium and spores ofL. paradoxa, nor in peridium, peridial protuberances and spores ofLicea pusillaS

摘要:
The genusPuncteliaKrog gen. nov., comprising subgen.Punctelia(theParmelia borrerigroup) and subgen.FlavopuncteliaKrog subgen. nov. (theParmelia flaventiorgroup), is here segregated fromParmelias. str. The main differences between the two genera lie in the development of the pseudocyphellae, the chemical properties of the medulla, and the centres of distribution.Parmelias. str. has its highest number of species in East Asia and the Australian region,Puncteliain the Americas and Africa.
