摘要:
This paper describes a digital phase meter developed by the time‐based chopping method. The phase meter can: first, read out the phase by chopping it with a synchronous high frequency signal whose frequency, 3o MHz, is 10000 times faster than that of the phase carrier signal, and obtain 0.03 degrees resolution; second, judge the 0?2π+or 0 ? —2π‐periodicity and discriminate the ambiguity of phase lead/lag by differentiating the phase amplitude to extend the unambiguous measurement range to infinity; third, have the linear dynamic measurement range as large as ± 105·2πand fourth, simple and inexpensive. An optical fiber Mach‐Zehnder displacement interferometer is given as a typical application example of the digital phase meter.

摘要:
This paper presents the shaking table test results of a scaled steel gable frame subjected to earthquake ground motions of different intensities. The strain mode shape (SMS) calculated from dynamic strain gage data is used as the primary indicator to identify damaged locations of the structure due to inelastic deformation. Observations show the change of SMS to be the greatest around the damaged area. Also observed is the “recovering SMS” during an inelastic time history response. Methodology used in this analysis may help engineers foster the idea of structural diagnosis through vibration monitoring.

摘要:
By using the concept of the plastic spin, we extend the endochronic first‐order ordinary differential constitutive equation to describe the material response in finite strain range. Experimental data of 70:30 brass, Al‐1100, Ni‐200 and 304L stainless steel found in literature are used for comparison. We will show that the theoretical results are in qualitative agreement with our experimental finding.

摘要:
The electrodeposition of aluminum in the molten binary AlCl3‐NaCl system has been studied. The properties of the aluminum deposited layers varied with the preelectrolysis process of melts, the operation temperature, the current density, and the composition of electrolytes. The aluminum was unable to deposit from a basic AlCl3‐NaCl melt; whereas by increasing the concentration of A1C13, a denser, more compact and uniform deposited layer was obtained.
