摘要:
A 14‐span programmable low‐pass FIR digital filter is implemented with a decimation structure. With the aid of bitsliced technique, the tedious data flow that results from sharing unified arithmetic circuits can be operated in real‐time mode, and the sampling rate is up to 102.4 KHz.

摘要:
The conventional stable methods are used to reduce the order of the denominator polynomial of a z‐transfer function. The coefficients of the numerator polynomial of the reduced model are determined through an optimal matching of the impulse responses of the original and reduced models. Using the residue method, the optimal matching can be handled analytically with the solution of a set of linear algebraic equations. Furthermore, the reduced model is stable provided the original one is stable.

摘要:
A unified algorithm is presented for inverting Cauer, Jordan, and Stieltjes types of continued fractions. The procedure is practically useful in the reduction of high‐order transfer functions using the continued fraction method and is easy to be programmed on a digital computer. Furthermore, it can be adopted for inverting matrix continued fraction expansions without any modification but replacing scalar elements with matrix elements.
