摘要:
Kovats indices and mass-, FTIR,1-NMR- and13C-NMR data were collected for all eight stereoisomers of eudesm-ll-en-4-ol, e.g. selin-ll-en-4α-ol, intermedeol, neointermedeol, paradisiol, amiteol. Differences in Kovats indices and mass spectral data of the various isomers are briefly discussed.

摘要:
The composition of the essential oil ofIpomoea aquaticahas been investigated by GC, IR,1H-NMR and GC/M S. The oil contained 58 volatile components of which 49.14% were terpenoid. The main components were phytol (37.08%), palmitic acid (10.99%), (Z)-3-hexen-l-ol (5.7%), α-humulene (2.28%), n-hexacosane (2.25%) and bis(2-ethyl-hexyl) sebacate (2.17%).

摘要:
Two samples of plant material ofTeucrium arduiniL., which were collected in 1989 and 1990 were hydrodistilled to produce oil yields of 0.07% and 0.18% (v/w) respectively. GC and GC/MS analysis revealed that germacrene D (23.4% and 57.8%) and β-caryophyllene (17.3% and 13.5%) were the main components of the oils.

摘要:
The composition of the essential oil ofErigeron canadensisL. (Compositae) growing in west Japan has been investigated by capillary GC and GC/M S. The oil was found to contain 47 volatile components of which 91.0% were terpenoid. The main constituents were limonene (31.2%), camphene (14.2%) and germacrene D (11.3%) accounting for 56.7% of the oil. Non-terpenoid acetylenic compounds have also been detected.

摘要:
The essential oils which were obtained from the leaves, flowers and stems ofOcimum gratissimumin concentrations of 1.34%, 1.49% and 0.14% respectively, were examined by GC/MS. Fifteen constituents in the essential oil were identified with geraniol (83.7–88.8%) as the major constituent. Other major components included γ-muurolene (1.58–3.88%), β-caryophyllene (1.2–2.29%), neral (1.35–3.82%) and limonene (0.74–1.91%). Essential oil composition was similar among plant parts. Eugenol and thymol reported as the major constituent of Nigerian and Indian oil could not be detected in this oil. This is the first report of a geraniol-rich essential oil fromO. gratissimum.

The action ofBeauveria sulfurescenson terpinolene mainly gives products resulting from attack on the 4,8 double bond. Bioconversion of 4,8-epoxy p-menth-1-ene mainly gives p-menth-1-en 4,8-diol(Penicillium digitatumandBeauveria sulfurescens).The ratio of the two diastereoisomers is determined.

摘要:
The essential oils, which were obtained by steam distillation of the leaves, stems and roots ofAmomum schmidttiGagnep., were analyzed by high resolution GC and GC/MS, and by IR and NMR spectrometry. It was found that the oils contained a high content (90–95%) of trans-p-(l-butenyl)anisole.

摘要:
The essential oil from clone 409 ofTanacetum vulgarecontains trans-chrysanthenyl acetate (75%) and trans-chrysanthenol (5–10%). The composition was determined by GC, GC/MS,1H- and13C-NMR spectroscopy. The structures of the main components were established by two-dimensional NMR techniques. Unambiguous assignment of all chemical shifts was achieved and coupling constants of diagnostic interest were determined.

摘要:
The cold-pressed oils of five orange cultivars, a Tangor hybrid and the Clementine Tangerine, which were obtained from fruit grown in Algeria, were examined by GC/MS. The orange oils were found to contain the following number of constituents: Washington-Navel (43), Portuguese (61), Valencia (43), Hamlin (24) and Sanguine (23). The Tangor hybrid oil was found to contain 34 components, while 25 components were found in the Clementine oil. The use of preparative GC as a method to remove the monoterpene hydrocarbons prior to GC/MS analysis was demonstrated.

The essential oils of 27Eucalyptusspecies of Moroccan origin have been examined using GC and GC/MS. Forty constituents were identified in the oils, although full chemical characterization of each oil was not achieved. Fifteen of the 27 species investigated were found to possess an oil rich in 1,8-cineole (>40%). In four species,E. globulus, E. melliodora, E. siderophloiaandE. maideni, the 1,8-cineole content exceeded 70% while the α-phellandrene percentage was less than 1%.E. citriodorawas found to possess an oil rich in citronellal (56%) whileE. maculatapossessed an oil rich in α-pinene (70%).
