摘要:
Examination of the foliage oils of 25 specimens ofPrumnopitys ferrugineaidentified ten sesquiterpene hydrocarbons (δ-elemene, α-cubebene, α-copaene, β-cubebene, germacrene-D, β-selinene, bicyclogermacrene, germacrene-A, δ-cadinene and γ-cadinene), the rare sesquiterpene ketone, acorenone, seven diterpene hydrocarbons (rimuene, beyerene, pimaradiene, sandaracopimaradiene, phyllocladene, kaurene and abietatriene) and a diterpene alcohol (Sβ-hydroxyisopimarene). Terpene levels were highly variable. β-Elemene, cis-calamenene and cadina-1,4-diene were detected as artefacts of aging of extracts. Some of the components showed antimicrobial activities againstBacillus subtilisandTrichophyton mentagrophytes, and cytotoxic activity against monkey kidney cells.

摘要:
The components of essential oil obtained from the bark of “Wakouboku” (Magnolia obovataThunb.) were analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Over 90 compounds were detected in the oil, of which more than 79% were terpenoid. The major components were β-eudesmol (23.61%), cadalene (17.21%), γ-eudesmol (7.32%), bornyl acetate (6.40%), hexanal (4.51%), camphene (3.67%), α-eudesmol (2.95%) and caryophyllene oxide (2.94%)

摘要:
The volatil oil fromZanthoxylum chalybeumThunb. was obtained from the fresh leaves by hydrodistillation. The essential oil was analyzed by the use of GC and GC/MS. The major components of the oil were: limonene (48.06%), geranial (13.21%), neral (12.11%), terpinolene (7.91%), linalyl propionate (7.89%), citronellal (7.30%), camphene (5.28%), neryl acetate (5.74%) and terpinen-4-ol (5.28%)

摘要:
Fresh leaves ofPsiadia altissima(DC) Benth. et Hook, from Madagascar were steam distilled to produce an oil in 0.5% yield. Fifty-two compounds of the oil were characterized using GC/MS and retention indices. The hydrocarbon fraction (83%) was composed of monoterpenes and sesquiterpenes, among which β-pinene (39.7%) was the main component of this oil. Of the 25 sesquiterpenoids detected, 14 have been identified, such as T-muurolol and β-eudesmol (2.2%) and δ-cadinol (1.2%)

The leaf oils ofHyptis suaveolenswere isolated by hydrodistillation and separated by GC. Of the 56 components separated, 47 were identified by GC/MS. Monoterpenes represented the largest portion with 1m8-cineole (38.7%), sabinene (19.9%), terpinolene (8.5%), β-pinene (6.4%), γ-terpinene (4.8%), α-pinene (2.9%), limonene (2.6%), myrcene (1.3%) andterpinen-4-ol (1.2%). Of the sesquiterpenes, the predominant were β-caryophyllene (2.5%) and germacrene-B (1.2%). All other components including the unknowns were in concentrations of less than 1%

The constituents of the leaf oils from ten ChineseLauraceaespecies (Cinnamomum glanduliferum(Wall.) Nees,Cinnamomum burmanniiCG. & Th. Nees,Lindera thomsoniiAllen,Lindera communisHemsl.,Lindera angustifoliaCheng,Machilus longipedicellataLecomte,Machilus yunnanensisLecomte,Neocinnamomum delavayi(Lecomte) H. Liou,Phoebe kwangciensisLiou,Phoebe nigrifoliaS. Lee et F. N. Wei) found in the southwestern parts of China were analyzed by capillary GC and GC/MS. The individual mono- and sesquiterpenes were identified by MS spectra comparing with those of authentic specimens. The identified components constituted 88.5–99.6% of these oils. These leaf oils were found to be rich in monoterpenes (43.2–94.9%) and sesquiterpenes (1.3–47.4%). Twenty-six to forty-five compounds have been characterized by GC/MS in each of the leaf oils of the tenLauraceaespecies.

摘要:
The β-D-glucopyranosides of (3R,8E)-3-hydroxy-β-damascone and (6R,7E,9R)-3-oxo-α-ionol have been characterized in a Riesling wine glycosidic extract by means of GC/MS analysis of their trifluoroacetylated derivatives and synthesis of authentic racemic compounds. The absolute configurations were determined by1H-NMR spectros-copy of the diastereomeric esters prepared from (R)-2-phenyl propionic acid and racemic (E)-3-hydroxy-β-damascone and by comparison with (6R,7E,9R)-3-oxo-α-ionol extracted from tobacco. These two glucosides were also identified in wines and grapes from otherVitis viniferacultivars

摘要:
The free and bound fractions of a sample of Oriental tobacco,Nicotania tabaccumL., were separated by selective retention on Amberh'te XAD-2 resin. Free forms of E-3-hydroxymegastigma-5,8-dien-7-one (3-hydroxy-β-damascone) and E-9-hydroxymegastigina-4,7-dien-3-one (3-oxo-α-ionol) outweighed the bound forms by respective ratios of 40:1 and 138:1. The absolute configuration of free and bound 3-hydroxy-β-damascone were shown to be 3R. Furthermore the aglycone of the β-D-glucopyranoside of (E)-9-hydroxymegastigma-4,7-dien-3-one(E-3-oxo-α-ionol) was assigned both (6R,9S) and (6R,9R) configurations. The ratio of these two epimers was found to be similar to their ratio in the whole glycosidic fraction, but it was quite different in the free fraction. Finally the elution order of the four diastereomeric trifluoroacetylated β-D-glucopyranosides of E-3-oxo-α-ionol was determined on a GC capillary column

摘要:
In laboratory and field experiments conducted from 1989–1990, effect of some new systemic fungicides on mint rust (Puccinia menthaePers.) were studied with two species: cv. Tundza fromMentha piperitaL. and cv. Mentolna 14 fromMentha arvensisL. The influence of the fungicides on the quantity and quality of the essential oil was also examined. The best results were achieved with the fungicides Folicur plus and Baycor.

Leaves ofTagetes minutaL. andT. filifoliaLag. were screened for their antifungal activity againstSclerotium cepivorum, Colletotrichum coccodesandAlternaria solani. Tagetes minutaandT. filifoliaexhibited the strongest fungitoxicity by completely inhibiting the mycelial growth of the test pathogen. The fungitoxic constituents were isolated in the form of essential oils and were characterized by GC/MS. Two chemotypes (ocimene-rich and ocimenone-rich) ofT. minutaand an (E)-anethole-rich chemotype ofT. filifoliaexhibited mycelial inhibition at 5000 ppm, 3000 ppm and 2000 ppm respectively
