摘要:
The flowers ofCurcuma pierreanaGagnep., Zingiberaceae, were collected in full bloom in Huê, Vietnam. The essential oil was obtained by hydrodistillation of these flowers. The flower oil was analyzed by a combination of high resolution GC and GC/MS. More than 40 components were identified, representing 89% of the oil. The principal constituents were isoborneol (27.3%), camphor (24.1%), isobornyl acetate (7.3%), camphene (6.7%) and α-pinene (5.1%). The oil contained more than 70% of oxygenated compounds, which contributed to its special odor.

摘要:
The essential oils of three types ofSiparuna guianensiscollected at different places of the Amazon were analyzed by GC/MS. The main constituents found in the oil of the sample collected at Moju (PA) were epi-α-bisabolol (25.1%) and spathulenol (15.7%). The oil of the sample collected at Rio Branco (AC) was dominated by spathulenol (22.0%), selin-11-en-4α-ol (19.4%), β-eudesmol (10.0%) and elemol (10.0%). The major components found in the oil of the sample collected at Belém (PA) were germacrone (23.2%), germacrene D (10.9%), bicycliogermacrene (8.6%), germacrene B (8.0%) and atractylone (31.4%).

摘要:
The essential oil from leaves ofHyptis pectinataPoit. from the Kumaon region of India was analyzed by GC, GC/MS, GC/FTIR and NMR spectroscopy. Thirty-three constituents, mainly mono- and sesquinoids, were identified. The oil composition has been compared with that of the oils obtained fromH. pectinatagrowing on the Fiji Islands and in West Africa. The insecticidal properties of the oil have been discussed briefly.

摘要:
Helichrysum stoechasL. plants were hydrodistilled and the oil, which was obtained in 0.04% yield, was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. The major components were α-pinene (63%), limonene (14%), β-caryophyllene (2.8%) and α-humulene (2%). Other separated components (≃90) accounted for less than 10% of the oil.
