摘要:
An essential oil obtained in a yield of 0.13% by hydrodistillation of the rhizomes of the speciesScleria striatinuxDe Wild. (Cyperaceae) was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Thirty-eight compounds have been identified in the oil of which α- and β-pinene represent more than half of the total monoterpene content (42.4%). Among the sesquiterpenes (30.4%), the major component is cyperene (8.0%). Some non-terpenic compounds (12.5%), among which caprylic and capric acids were the most abundant, were also characterized.

摘要:
Twenty-nine volatile substances often frozen mushrooms(Grifola frondosa, Clitocybe nebularis, Clitocybe odora, Tricholoma sulfureum, Agaricus bisporus, Amanita ovoidea, Clitopilus prunulus, Hebeloma radicosum, Pholiota apicrea, Boletus satanas, Basidiomycetes) from France have been identified by GC/MS. The main components of the fruit bodies were l-octen-3-ol, benzaldehyde, 2-phenylethanol, (E,E)-2,4-decadienal and (E,Z)-2,4-decadienal. Lysidine, δ-cadinene, cis-sabinene hydrate and trans-sabinene hydrate were identified for the first time in mushrooms.

摘要:
The essential oils obtained from the leavesof Melaleuca quinquenerviafrom Benin were analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Three chemovarieties were identified; one with a high content of 1,8-cineole (48%) and a smaller amount of viridiflorol (17%), another with about equal amounts of the same two compounds and a third variety rich in viridiflorol (48%) with 1,8-cineole (12%) as the second most important constituent.

摘要:
The essential oils from leaves of two Uruguayan native Anacardiaceae,Schinus molleL. andSchinus lentiscifolius(L.) March., were analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Sixteen compounds were identified inS. lentiscifoliusandS. molleoils. Both oils were sesquiterpene hydrocarbon-rich with δ-cadinene (16.79%) and bicyclo-germacrene (29.20%) being the major components in the oils ofS. lentiscifoliusandS. molle, respectively.

摘要:
GC/MS analysis of the hydrodistilled oils from the roots (38.4% mono-, 46.8% sesqui-, 13.7% diterpenes), trunk (68.6% mono-, 27.4% sesquiterpenes), leaves (24.0% mono-, 57.9% sesquiterpenes) and fruits (74.8% mono-, 20.8% sesquiterpenes) ofXylopia sericeaallowed the identification of 39 different constituents. More than 86%, 87%, 59% and 91% of die leaf oil, fruit oil, root oil and trunk oil, respectively, were identified in the oils, respectively. The main constituents in these oils were: leaf oil: (Z)-β-ocimene (22.78%), γ-elemene (16.67%), γ-muurolene (12.22%), β-caryophyllene (11.55%) and β-elemene (11.48%); fruit oil: myrcene (21.68%), β-pinene (13.01%) and β-elemene (10.32%); root oil: β-pinene (17.83%) and trunk oil: β-pinene (60.73%) and α-gurjunene (19.22%).

摘要:
The essential oil, which was obtained by water distillation of the fresh rhizomes ofCurcuma amadaRoxb. (Zingiberaceae) growing in the plain districts of Northeastern India, was investigated by GC/MS. Nine components (97.4%) were identified. Myrcene was found as the major (88.6%) component.

摘要:
As a part of our research on aromatic plants from Córdoba, Argentina (1–4), we have examined the oil composition of the leaves ofCalamintha nepeta(L.) Savi andMentha off. suaveolensEhrh., grown in Argentina, using GC and GC/MS. The major constituents of die leaf oil ofCalamintha nepetawere pulegone (34.28%), neomenthol (30.61%) and menthone (17.12%) while that ofMentha off. suaveolenshad menthol (48.32%), pulegone (20.27%) and menthone (8.90%) as the major components.
