摘要:
The leaf oil ofBouchardatia neurococca(F. Muell.) Baillon, obtained in 0.03–0.10% yield, was composed entirely of sesquiterpenes. The major components were β-caryophyllene (38.5%), α-humulene (16.1%), bicyclogermacrene (10.8%) and caryophyllene oxide (13.0%). Over 40 sesquiterpenes were detected in the oil.

摘要:
The headspace, the essential oil and a dichloromethane extract of horsechestnut(Aesculus hippocastanumL.) peels as well as the seed oil were analyzed by GC, GC/FTIR/MS and GC-sniffing techniques. The headspace was found to be rich in 3-hexenol (8.2%), 2-heptanol (5.2%), 2-heptenone (4.7%), benzyl alcohol (4.1%), 2-methylbutanal (3.7%), 2-phenyl ethanol (3.5%), isovaleraldehyde (3.3%) and 2-octanol (3.3%). The oil as well as the extract of the peels showed a similar composition, but differed in the olfactoric impression. The concentrations of the main compounds in both samples were less than in the headspace. The main volatile constituents of the horsechestnut seeds were nonanal (5.3%), 3-hexenol (5.2%), nonanoic acid (4.6%), benzyl alcohol (3.9%) and 2-heptanol (3.2%).

摘要:
The chemical composition of the steam-distilled leaf/twig oils, which were produced fromPsidium luridum(Spreng.) Burr, andP. incanum(Berg.) Burr, growing wild in Uruguay, were investigated by GC and GC/MS. The major constituents of both oils were 1,8-cineole (36.56% and 30.96%) and linalool (12.38% and 11.50%) forP. luridumandP. incanumrespectively.

摘要:
The chemical composition of the essential oil obtained from the aerial parts ofNepeta discolorBenth. was examined by using GC/MS and GC/FTIR. Out of at least 55 constituents, 40 have been identified. The essential oil fromN. discolorhas been found to contain sabinene (8.3%), 1,8-cineole (20.0%), sesquiterpene hydrocarbons (17.0%) and oxygenated sesquiterpenes (28.7%). No nepetalactones or iridodial derivatives were found as oil constituents.

摘要:
The chemical composition of the essential oil ofAloysia triphylla(syn.Lippia citriodora(Ortega ex Pers.) Humb., Bonpl. et Kunth) (Verbenaceae), which was produced by steam distillation of air-dried plants cultivated in Morocco for export, was determined by GC and GC/MS. The main components of the oil were 1,8-cineole (12.4%), geranial (9.9%), 6-methyl-5-hepten-2-one (7.4%) and neral (6.9%).

摘要:
More than 30 components have been identified in the essential oil ofAltingia siamensisCraib. resin from Vietnam by a combination of high resolution GC and GC/MS. The major compounds were found to be α-copaene (9.6%), α-humulene (8.5%), junenol (6.8%), β-caryophyllene (6.6%), β-bisabolene (5.5%) and (E,E)-α-farnesene (5.0%). The oil consisted for more than 52% of sesquiterpene hydrocarbons.

摘要:
The essential oils of two clones ofPycnanthemum floridanum, an endemic species in N. America, were examined by GC and GC/MS. Forty constituents were identified in the oils, of which menthone (32.15%), pulegone (39.83%) and piperitone (10.43%) were the major constituents of one clone, while the predominant components of the second clone were neomenthol (13.72%) and pulegone (59.97%).
