摘要:
The concrete content of the flowers of four genotypes of tuberose (two single and two double types) has been determined over two seasons, i.e., March and October. Single types yielded a higher concrete content (0.134–0.136%) than the double types (0.107–0.108%). Also the flowers harvested during October yielded a higher concrete content than those harvested during March.

摘要:
The volatile constituents ofMurraya koenigiiSpreng. flowers were analyzed by capillary GC and GC/MS following isolation by solvent extraction. Forty-eight compounds were identified, monoterpenoids and sesquiterpenoids accounting for 34.4% and 43.9% of the total volatiles, respectively. The major components were β-caryophyllene (24.2%), (E)-β-ocimene (18.0%) and linalool (8.0%).

摘要:
The leaf and resin essential oils ofPinus sibiricawere analyzed by GC/MS. The leaf oil was dominated by α-pinene (57.2%), β-phellandrene (19.7%), and β-pinene (7.7%) with lesser amounts of limonene (2.2%), myrcene (2.1%), terpinolene (1.3%) and camphene (1.3%). The resin oil contained α-pinene (39.1%), δ-3-carene (23.0%), and β-pinene (9.1%) with moderate amounts of cembrene (4.9%), β-phellandrene (2.1%), camphene (1.7%) and terpinolene (1.3%).

摘要:
The essential oils isolated by hydrodistillation of the fresh fruits ofLitsea glutinosa(Lour.) C.B. Rob. have been analyzed for the first time. The oils of green (unripe) and black (ripe) fruits of this species contained more than 40 and 30 compounds, of which 28 (90%) and 22 (98%) constituents could be identified respectively by GC/MS. Both the oils were characterized by a high proportion of (E)-β-ocimene (70.8% and 84.1%, respectively). Predominant minor constituents of these oils were caryophyllene oxide (5.0% and 0.9%), β-caryophyllene (3.4% and 4.3%) and (Z)-β-ocimene (1.8% and 2.1%).

摘要:
The water distilled leaf oils of the two Mauritian medicinal plantsArtemisia verlotiorumLamotte andAmbrosia tenuifoliaSprengel, were examined by GC and GC/MS. The oil ofArtemisia verlotiorumwhich was obtained in 1.7% yield contained 22 identified constituents representing 77.8% of the oil with germacrene D (23.6%) as the major component.Ambrosia tenuifolia(1.32% yield) contained 32 components representing 99.2% of the oil with α-thujone as the major component (79.3%).
