摘要:
The volatile oil of the air-dried aerial parts ofSideritis lyciaBoiss. et Heldr. (Lamiaceae), an endemic species of Turkey, was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Fifty-four compounds were identified, of which β-pinene (25%), α-pinene (16%), δ-cadinene (7%) and β-caryophyllene (6%) were found to be the major constituents.

摘要:
Samples of five species of the genus ofPsidium(Myrtaceae) are analyzed for essential oils. The foliar oil ofP. cattleianumSabine is dominated by β-caryophyllene (59.92±1.70%). The foliar oil ofP. friedrichsthalianum(Berg) Niedenzu is dominated by β-caryophyllene (36.82±19.44%) and α-pinene (10.61±13.70%). The foliar oil ofP. guajavaL. is dominated by β-bisabolene (19.21±2.44%) and β-sesquiphellandrene (14.75±0.01%). The foliar oil ofP. guineenseSw. is dominated by β-bisabolene (13.18±2.00%) and α-pinene (12.85±5.42%). The foliar oil ofP. sartorianum(Berg) Niedenzu is dominated by α-pinene (16.66±1.05%), β-caryophyllene (12.35±2.82%) and α-phellandrene (9.81±1.13%).

摘要:
The essential oil isolated by hydrodistillation from the fresh rhizomes ofAlpinia conchigeraGriff was analyzed by capillary GC and GC/MS. More than 40 constituents were present in the oil, from which 34 components could be identified. The major components include β-sesquiphellandrene (20.5%), β-bisabolene (12.1%) and 1,8-cineole (11.6%).

摘要:
The hydrodistillated essential oil ofGuarea cedrata(A. Chev.) Pellegr. bark was analyzed by capillary GC and GC/MS. It was found that the oil consisted exclusively of sesquiterpenes, representing 97.1% volatiles, among which 68.0% were hydrocarbons and 29.1% were oxygenated components. The major constituents were found to be β-caryophyllene (45.1%) and globulol (11.1%).

摘要:
The chemical composition of the essential oil obtained from the leaves ofColeus aromaticus(Lamiaceae)Triphasia trifolia, (Rutaceae) andEucalyptus kirtoniana(Myrtaceae) from Mauritius were examined by capillary GC and combined GC/MS. The oil obtained fromC. aromaticuswas characterized by the presence of carvacrol (41.3%) and camphor (39%) as major constituents. The oil ofT. trifoliacontained terpinen-4-ol (29.0%) and carvacrol (14.2%), while that ofE. kirtonianacontained camphene (70.5%) as the major component.
