摘要:
Essential oils from the leaves and inflorescences ofOcimum basilicumL. varpurpurascensBenth, were obtained by steam distillation and using microwave distillation. Oils were investigated by GC and GC/MS. The main constituent in the leaf oils and inflorescence oil was linalool (39.3–79.6% and 81.5%).

摘要:
A water-distilled oil obtained from the fruits ofHeracleum argaeum, a Turkish endemic species, was examined by GC/MS. Sixty nine components were characterized representing 96.4% of the oil, with hexyl butyrate (39.1%) as the major constituent.

摘要:
The essential oils ofHyssopus officinalisL. var.decumbens(HOD) from France (Banon) andH. officinalis(HO) from Italy (Piedmont) were studied by GC and GC/MS. The bicyclic monoterpene ketones, pinocamphone and isopinocamphone, were present in HO (4.4% and 43.3%, respectively, in accordance with the ISO 9841 Standard, 1991 E), but their percentages were very low in HOD, where instead linalool (49.6%), 1,8-cineole (13.3%) and limonene (5.4%) were predominant.

摘要:
The essential oils of the two subspeciesglandulosaandnepetaofCalamintha nepeta(L.) Savi are known to contain a p-menthane skeleton oxygenated in the C-3 position. The particular richness in piperitone oxide of the essential oil obtained from a sample of the ssp.nepetacollected in Urbino (Italy) allowed a chemotaxonomic distinction to be made between these subspecies.

摘要:
In this report the comparative chemical composition of the essential oil ofChamaemelum nobilefrom two different regions in Northern Italy was examined by GC and GC/MS. No significant differences were found in the composition of the two oils which were characterized by a high content of isobutyl angelate (36.3–38.5%), 2-methylbutyl angelate (18.2–20.3%) and other angelate esters.

摘要:
Volatile compounds from the aerial parts ofOcimum gratissimumL. were isolated by hydrodistillation, hexane extraction and supercritical CO2extraction. Using GC/MS as the method of analysis, their compositions were compared. Analysis revealed that both extracts contained few compounds and differed quantitatively from the oil. The concentrations of thymol and carvacrol were higher in the extracts.

摘要:
The essential oil from the leaves ofLippia albawas analyzed by GC (retention indices) and GC/MS. Linalool proved to be the major constituent (78.9%), besides 1,8-cineole (6.5%), germacrene D (35%), β-caryophyllene (2.7%) and α-terpineol (2.0%). This species is worthy of examination as a rosewood oil substitute.

摘要:
The essential oils obtained from fruits of coriander growing in six different zones of Argentina were analyzed by GC, IR and olfactive evaluation. The composition of five commercial oils produced in two areas of Buenos Aires Province were compared with three Russian oils imported by the Argentinian fragrance and flavor industry. Twenty components were identified which accounted for 96.6-99–7% of the total oils composition. The main constituents were linalool (68.9-83–7%), γ-terpinene (2,2-5.1%), camphor (3.2-4.8%), α-pinene (1.0–6.5%), geraniol (1.4–3.2%) and geranyl acetate (0.8–3.8%). The contents of cis- and trans-linalool oxide (0.1–0.4%) were low.

摘要:
The chemical composition of the essential oils obtained from the flowering aerial parts ofMarrubium vulgare L.. andMarrubium peregrinumL. were determined by GC/MS. Twelve components were identified inM. vulgareoil with β-caryophyllene (45.8%) and germacrene D (14.4%) being the major constituents. InM. peregrinumoil, sixteen compounds were identified with β-caryophyllene (31.3%), germacrene D (28.1%) and bicyclogermacrene (15.3%) predominating.

摘要:
The essential oil ofTrachyspermum ammi(L.) Sprague (Bishop's weed, Ajowan) seeds was isolated by hydrodistillation. The oil, obtained in 1.2% yield, was analyzed by high resolution GC and GC/MS, and 99.8% of the compounds were identified. The principal oil constituents were carvone (46.2%), limonene (38.1%) and dillapiole (8.9%).
