摘要:
Three chemotypes ofThymus longicaulisC. Presl subsp.chaoubardii(Reichenb. fil.) Jalas were collected from the same population growing in one m2area. Their oils were examined by GC and GC/MS. Limonene (18.7%) and thymol (19–4%); geraniol (56.8%) and geranyl acetate (7.6%); linalool (63.1%) and α-terpinyl acetate (20.4%) were the predominant components in each of the three different chemotypes, respectively. The oils also exhibited moderate to strong antimicrobial activity against the six Gram (±) tested bacteria

摘要:
Oils obtained by hydrodistillation, separately from flowers and leaves ofHeterotheca latifoliaBuck. (Compositae), which is a weed in west central Argentina, were analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Twenty-eight compounds were identified in the flower oil representing 88.9%; and 90.7% of the leaf oil was represented by 15 compounds. Although the composition of both oils was similar, the quantity of individual components differed between them. The major components of both oils were borneol (19.0-39.9%) and camphor (12.0–24.3%). The monoterpene hydrocarbon content of the flower oil (47–3%) was much higher than in leaf oil (7.4%), while the oxygenated compounds were much higher in leaf oil (71.5%)

摘要:
Essential oils of aerial parts of two specimens ofMelampodium camphoratumwere analyzed by GC/MS. The plants were collected from two different localities in the Amazon Region and their oils were found to be remarkably different. One oil obtained from the sample collected at Manaus was characterized by a high content of terpinolene (30.3%), limonene (13.8%) and δ-3-carene (13.2%). The main constituents found in the other oil distilled from a sample collected at Vigia were camphor (15.0%), α-phellandrene (20.5%) and β-caryophyllene (8.9%)
