摘要:
The essential oil isolated from leaves ofArtemisia afraWilld. (1.5%) by hydrodistillation was analyzed by GC and GC/MS. Fifty compounds constituting about 93% of the oil were identified. The major constituents were 1,8-cineole (67.4%), terpinen-4-ol (6.5%) and borneol (5.1%).

摘要:
The foliar essential oils of six cultivars ofSalvia clevelandii(Gray) Greene xS. leucophyllaGreene were examined by GC/MS: ‘Allen Chickering,’ ‘Aromas,’ ‘Compacta,’ ‘Herb Society of America,’ ‘Santa Cruz Dark’ and ‘Whirly Blue.’ The dominant components of the oil of all six cultivars are camphor (43.54±3.73%) and 1,8-cineole (19.39±2.39%). The overall essential oil patterns do not differ significantly by multivariate analysis of variance but individual cultivars are marked by the presence or absence of trace components.

摘要:
Essential oils obtained from the steam distillation of the leaves ofCitrus aurantiumL.,Citrus paradisiMacfad andCitrus sinensis(L.) Osbeck were analyzed by capillary GC and GC/MS. Seventeen components were identified in the leaf oil ofC. aurantium, accounting for 99.03% of the oil. The leaf oil ofC. paradisicontained 45 components thereby accounting for 93.1% of the oil, while that ofC. sinensiscontained 61 components accounting for 86.86% of the total composition. The major components of the leaf oil of bothC. aurantiumandC. paradisiwere linalool (66.1% and 22.9% respectively) while that ofC. sinensishad cis-piperitol (26.4%) as the major component.

摘要:
The essential oil obtained by steam distillation of the aerial parts ofOrthodon calverieiLevel, growing wild in Vietnam was analyzed by a combination of GC and GC/MS. This oil was found to contain β-caryophyllene (20.3%), β-bisabolene (15.6%), cis-α-bergamotene (11.1%), α-humulene (10.3%), α- and β-asarone (8.2% and 8.6%, respectively) as the major components. More than 30 other compounds have been identified as well.

摘要:
One steam-distilled and two water-distilled essential oils ofSalvia cryptantha, an endemic species, were analyzed by GC and GC/MS. 1,8-Cineole (15.69–37.12%), camphor (5.95–13.04%), α-pinene (1.00–11.93%) and camphene (0.89–7.71%) were found to be the major components in the oils.
