摘要:
The essential oil of lavender flowering parts and stems was analyzed by capillary GC and GC/MS. Sixty-six constituents were identified, which constituted 92.1% of the total integrated area of the detected GC peaks. The concentration of the linalool in the flowering parts was 5372.4 mg/kg, that of linalyl acetate 5121.7 mg/kg, that constituted 22.0% and 26.5% respectively in the total oil. The oil content in the stems was more than 30 times lower than in the flowering parts.

摘要:
The volatile constituents obtained by hydrodistillation of the flowers ofSolanum stuckertiiBitter andSolanum incisumGriseb. were characterized by GC and GC/MS. Compounds representing 71.67% the floral volatiles ofS. stuckertiiand 76.95% of the floral volatiles ofS. incisumwere identified. Forty four compounds were identified in the floral volatiles ofS. stuckertiiwith myrcene (8.05%), aromadendrene (5.01%), β-pinene (4.74%), germacrene D (4.65%), p-cymene (4.52%), (Z)-β-ocimene (4.34%) and decane (4.12%) being the major constituets. Of the forty one compounds identified in the floral volatiles ofS. incisum, β-pinene (9.88%), limonene (6.02%), 1,8 cineole (4.83%) and myrcene (4.75%) were present in high concentrations. Thirty-nine compounds were common to the volatiles of both species.

摘要:
A comparison between properly stored and improperly stored (containing a small amount of water, half-filled in aluminum container and stored under ambient conditions) rose-scented geranium oil was made. It was found that the menthone, citronellol and citronellyl formate contents increased significantly under poor storage conditions, whereas linalool, geraniol, geranyl formate and lO-epi-γ-eudesmol contents decreased under poor storage conditions over the period of 6-24 months. When the oil was stored correctly, the concentrations of linalool, citronellol, citronellyl formate and 10-epi-γ-eudesmol did not vary markedly, while that of menthone increased slightly and those of geraniol and geranyl formate declined marginally. Correct storage conditions were defined as oil that has been dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate, filled up to the brim in an aluminum container or amber-colored bottle, tightly stoppered and stored under ambient conditions. No polymerization was observed in oils irrespective of storage conditions.

摘要:
The chemical composition of the essential oils, isolated by hydrodistillation from various parts (leaves, trunk, bark, fruit pulp and kernels) ofTalauma giôifrom Vietnam, was analyzed for the first time by a combination of GC and GC/MS. The major constituents of the fruit pulp and kernel oils were found to be safrole (70.2% and 72.9%) and methyl eugenol (24.2% and 18.5%), respectively. Camphor (23.8%) was the main constituent of the trunk oil. The bark oil contained mainly camphor (15.7%), safrole (14.3%), β-caryophyllene (15.6%) and elemicin (13.7%). The leaf oil contained elemicin (46.3%) and β-caryophyllene (16.9%) as major components.
