摘要:
The essential oils ofOcimum gratissimumwere isolated from fresh aerial plant parts by steam distillation with yields from 0.2-0.9%. Analysis by GC and GC/MS identified 35 constituents, of which γ-terpinene (2.2-30.2%), p-cymene (13.5-37.1%) and thymol(2.3-32.1%) were the most abundant. Three samples were especially rich in p-cymene (38.2-47.1%), accompanied by γ-terpinene (2.2%) and myrcene (2.8%). Percentage of these compounds are included beetween 45-65%.

摘要:
The chemical composition of the oils obtained fromThuja occidentalisL.‘malonyana’andT. occidentalis ‘malonyana’(selecton Misak) were determined by GC/MS for the first time. In total 33 components were statistically evaluated by multivariate methods to examine the complex variation of the data set. The main compounds in all oil samples (α-thujone, β -thujone, fenchone) represent more than 50% of the examined oils. Comparison ofT. occidentalis ‘malonyana’andT. occidentalis ‘malonyana’(selecton Misak) oils showed no substantial differences in the chemical composition. Oil composition was very close to that ofT. occidentalisof North American origin.

摘要:
The essential oils obtained by steam distillation of the leaves and rhizomes of cultivatedCurcuma aromaticaSalisb. were investigated by GC and GC/MS. About 50 compounds have been identified in these oils, accounting for more than 85% of the contents. The major constituents of the leaf oil were found to be camphor (28.5%), ar-turmerone (13.2%), curzerenone (6.2%), 1,8-cineole (6.0%) and α-turmerone (2.5%). The rhizome oil consisted mainly of camphor (32.3%), curzerenone (11.0%), α-turmerone (6.7%), ar-turmerone (6.3%) and 1,8-cineole (5.5%).

摘要:
The essential oils of leaves and stems ofEupatorium triplinerveVahl andE. paniculatumPoepp et Endl. were obtained by hydrodistillation and analyzed by GC/MS. The oil ofE. triplinerve wasdominated by 2,5-dimethoxy p-cymene (69.7%) and β-caryophyllene (19.7%). The major constituent identified in the oil ofE. paniculatumwas β-caryophyllene (46.8%).

摘要:
Volatile compounds liberated on rubbing the seeds of okraAbelmoschus esculentus(L.) Moench were identified. These substances were shown to be stored in lenticular formations extending along the surfaces of the seeds. Fractionation of an ethanolic extract of the seed teguments led to identification of more than 40 compounds new toA. esculentus, including a major proportion of aliphatic esters and aldehydes such as undecanal and isododecanal, which are largely responsible for the fragrance of the seeds.

摘要:
A steam distilled oil obtained from the aerial parts ofTeucrium heterophyllumL'Hér., grown in la Palma, Canary Islands, was analyzed by capillary GC and GC/MS. Fifty nine components were characterized representing 94% of the oil. The oil contained α-pinene (8.5%), β-caryophyllene (15.1%) and (E)-α-bisabolene (20.8%) as major constituents.

摘要:
The composition of sesquiterpene hydrocarbons of distilled lime oils of different geographic origin was analyzed in detail. Gas chromatography on capillary columns of varied polarity was employed for the optimal separation of the components in GC/MS. This led to the unambiguous identification of a number of sesquiterpenes. α-Santalene, α-amorphene, epi-β-santalene, β-sesquiphellandrene, 4(14),7(11)-selinadiene and (E)-α-bisabolene were confirmed as so far unknown constituents of distilled lime oil. 4,7(11)-Selinadiene was isolated in NMR purity and unequivocally assigned within the sesquiterpene fraction.

摘要:
The secretory system of mature leaves ofSalvia officinalisL. is made up of capitate glandular trichomes, peltate glandular trichomes and ambrate resinous droplets. The secretions of these glandular trichomes and of the ambrate resinous droplets were sampled by microneedle shuttle analysis and analyzed by GC/MS. The sampled secretions are made up of paraffinic fraction and a terpenic fraction. While the paraffinic fraction is derived from the glandular surface wax, the terpenoid fraction is derived from the inner glandular secretion. The secretions have different qualitative and quantitative compositions depending on the secerning structure; eight compounds were common to the glandular trichome and ambrate resinous droplet secretions: α-pinene, β-pinene, 1,8-cineole, α-thujone, β-caryophyllene, α-humulene, ledene and biformene.
