摘要:
GC/MS analysis of the leaf oil ofCryptomeria japonicaD. Don obtained from Reunion allowed us to identify more than 70 compounds thanks to our SPECMA data bank. Among the volatiles, monoterpene hydrocarbons (45%), monoterpene alcohols (10%), monoterpene esters (2%), sesquiterpenes (25%) and diterpenes (12%) have been found. The presence of a moderate amount of α-kaurene (10%) and its 16-hydroxylated derivative (0.6%) was noted. The composition of theC. japonicafrom Reunion was found to be similar to that originating from Japan. Unidentified sesquiterpene and diterpene derivatives require further attention.

摘要:
Deterioration products and processes of sweet orange oil(Citrus sinensisL. Osbeck) were investigated on the basis of simulated aging conditions. For these experiments, we employed an aqueous acidic orange oil emulsion which was exposed to UV-light at room temperature for specified periods of time. Subsequent GC/MS analysis revealed some relevant changes in the composition of the orange oil. The treatment caused a significant increase in several known compounds, such as carvone, isopulegol, isomers of carveol, the limonene and linalool oxides. On the other hand, other constituents, such as neral, geranial and citronellal, decreased. Moreover, we were also able to identify a number of newly formed secondary constituents. Among these were p-mentha-l,8-dien-4-ol, α-cyclocitral, photocitral A, iso(iso)pulegol, carvonecamphor, menthone, isomenthone, isomers of p-mentha-l(7), 8-dien-2-ol and isopiperitenol.

摘要:
A solvent extract ofNelumbo nucifera‘Shinnyoren’ flowers was investigated by GC and GC/MS. Seventy compounds were identified with the major constituents being hydrocarbons representing more than 75% of the extract. 1,4-Dimethoxybenzene, 1,8-cineole, terpinen-4-ol and linalool were found to be indispensible in characterizing the scent of lotus flower. Using headspace analysis, the volatiles of 44 cultivars ofN. nucifera, one cultivar ofN. Pentapetalaand four hybrids were compared chromatographically. Although 1,4-dimethoxybenzene was found to increase daily during anthesis, it was found to be at a higher concentration inN. pentapetalaof American origin than inN. nuciferaof Oriental origin.

摘要:
Supercritical CO2extraction was used to isolate flavor compounds from angelica root (Angelica archangelicaL.). The extractions were conducted at 40°C at pressures ranging from 80–400 bar. The extracts were analyzed by capillary gas chromatography and mass spectrometry. For comparison, flavor compounds were also isolated from angelica root by steam distillation.

摘要:
The composition of the essential oil ofZiziphora clinopodioidesLam. was investigated by capillary GC and GC/MS. Of the 44 compounds detected, 35 were identified representing 96.62% of the oil; 24 of these components were detected for the first time. The major components of the oil were 1, 8 cineole (14.05%) and pulegone (21.92%).

摘要:
The volatile compounds of leek and asafoetida, which are known to comprise of sulphur compounds, have been studied and compared. For this purpose, the essential oil of both plants has been extracted, either from the leaves (leek), or from die gum (asafoetida). The identification of the constituents was performed using a GC/MS system. Some hypotheses were made on the unknown substances.

摘要:
The composition of the headspace of dill herb, a C02extract of dill herb, dillweed oil and dillseed oil(Anethum graveolens)were compared both chemically and organoleptically. Using GC/MS as the method of chemical analysis the oils were found to be rich in limonene and carvone. In contrast the dill herb headspace was found to be rich in monoterpene hydrocarbons, while the C02extract was rich in α-phellandrene and dill ether. Dill ether was found to be the most important compound with respect to the aroma of dill herb, seeds, etc. The absolute configuration of dill ether was determined to be(3R,8S,9R)-3,9-epoxy-p-menth-l-ene.

摘要:
Pentane extracts of the seeds (fruits) of 35 cultivars of dill have been examined by GC. From the results obtained, three broad chemotypes could be distinguished by the presence of carvone, and the presence or absence of myristicin and dillapiole. The major components of the cultivars of type 1 was found to be limonene (36.9–46.7%), carvone (17.8–45.6%), myristicin (0.2–20.3%), and dillapiole (8.0–22.3%), whereas in type 2 they were limonene (31.0–40.9%), carvone (25.1–47.4%), and dillapiole (6.3–31.8%). No myristicin was found in the second type. In the third chemotype, neither myristicin nor dillapiole were characterized; instead, limonene (39.5–50.7%) and carvone (43.7–57.7%) were only major constituents. Although chemotype 3(27 cultivars) possessed a chemical composition typical of European dill seed, the oil content was found to vary from 1.75–5.8%.
