摘要:
Abstract. The subfamily Rhachiberothinae Tjeder, 1959, originally included in the Berothidae and recently transferred to the Mantispidae, is revised and elevated to family rank. A historical review and redescriptions of the family Rhachiberothidae stat.n. and of the generaRhachiberothaTjeder, 1959, andMucroberothaTjeder, 1959, are presented. Five new species,R.ingwe, R.sheilae, M.aethiopica, M.angolanaandM.minted, are described and differentiated from the five hitherto‐known species. The hypothesis of a sister‐group relationship of the Rhachiberothidae to the Berothidae is re‐established. The phylogenetic position of the Dilaridae as an adelphotaxon of the monophyletic group ([Rhachiberothidae + Berothidae] + Mantispidae) is disc

摘要:
Abstract. The subgenusSabethinusofSabethesis redescribed and defined on the basis of shared morphological features observed in the adult, larval and pupal stages of four known species, two of which are described as new. Each species is described and illustrated in detail, and keys are provided for the identification of the adult and larval stages. The treatment of each species also includes an annotated summary of previous literature, a brief systematic discussion and information on bionomics and distribution. The species comprising the subgenus areSaintermedins, Samelcinonymphe, Saxhyphydessp.n. andSakliogenessp.n.

摘要:
Abstract.Eulophid parasitoids of whiteflies are reviewed, with comments on their systematic placement, and a generic key. All eulophid whitefly parasitoids are placed in the tribe Euderomphalini in the subfamily Entedoninae, and reasons for this placement are discussed. Three new genera are described. The seven included genera can be divided into two distinct genus groups: theEuderomphalegroup containsBaeoentedonGirault,EuderomphaleGirault,Neopomphalegen.n., andPomphaleHusainel al.; theEnicdononecremnusgroup containsAleuroctonusgen.n.,Dasyompluilegen.n., andEnicdononecremnusGirault. The new speciesDusyomphale chilensisis described.

摘要:
Abstract.Evidence is presented that Glaresidae are the most primitive livinj scarabaeoid group and as such represent the sister group of the rest of the Scarabaeoidea. This is based on a review of the states of seventy‐two morphologica characters. The plesiomorphic states of many characters are unique to the Glaresidae or are shared with other primitive scarabaeoids; seven may be synapomorphic with other groups and two are autapomorphic for the famil
