摘要:
Abstract.Idea tambusisianasp.n. is described and figured from a single female from Sulawesi Tengah (central Celebes). Its structure and facies place it clearly in the genusIdea, but if differes from all other knownIdeaspecies in the very long anastomosis of forewing veins Sc and R1and in the entirely dark abdomen, thorax, head and legs. The female genitala appear to exculde the new sepcies from theIdea Iynceus‐group, and it is placed, provisionally, in theIdea idea‐g

摘要:
AbstractThe species of Dirhinini from the Indian Subcontinent are revised and a key given to the ten recognized species. These are classified in one genus,DirhinusDalman, with two subgenera. Four new species, claviger, deplanatus, piliferandaltispina, are described and seventeen new synonyms (sixteen specific, one generic) proposed. All pertinent biological data are critically reviewed, all host records being from Diptera, especially synanthropic muscoid flies, noxious fruitflies and tachinids. Observations are made on geographic distributions, two species being found to extend from Africa to the Hawaiian Islands.

摘要:
Abstract. The genera of Corydalinae are redefined, and representative characters are figured for each genus. New character sources, such as mouthparts and internal female genitalia, are investigated, as well as traditional male genitalia and wings.Allohermesis synonymized withProtohermes, DoeringiawithPlatyneuromus. Intergeneric relationships are hypothesized on the basis of a cladistic analysis.Acanthacorydalisand the New World genera form a monophyletic group, as doProtohermesandNeurhermes, andNeuromusandNeoneuromus. 摘要:
AbstractThe tribe Plectrothripini is redefined with examination of its systematic relationships. Keys are provided to the ten genera and forty‐seven species in this tribe; one genus and eighteen species are newly described; one genus and two species are newly synonymized; two genera,ChiridothripsandEurytrichothrips, are here removed from this tribe. The species of the tribe occur throughout the tropical and subtropical regions of the world; seventeen species are recorded from the Oriental Region, seventeen species from the Neotropical Region, ten species from the Afrotropical Region, two from Australia and one from the Pacific. They seem to be fungus‐feeders, being found mainly under the bark of trees or on dead branc

摘要:
AbstractIconostigmagen.n., with included speciestryphaenusp.n. (typespecies) andmorosasp.n., is described from New Caledonia. A key to males of the world genera and a check‐list of the world species of Chlidanotini are provided. The relationship of the Chlidanotini to the Polyorthini and Hilarographini is discussed, with particular reference toIconostigma. It is suggested that the hair‐pencils of the eighth abdominal segment, and the invaginations in the male valvae into which each hair‐pencil is inserted, are apomorphic characters which unite these three tribes.PanegyruDiakonoff is transferred to the Tortricini andPolemograptis flavicostana(Walsingham) is transferred toPanegyra,comb.n.Archimaga euplocamisMeyrick is synonymized withMetrernis ochrolinaMeyrick,
