AbstractKnoevenagel‐Reaktion von Indol‐3‐carbaldehyden5a,bund7a,bmit Nitromethan führt zu den Nitroethenen12und14, die analoge Reaktion mit Malodinitril zu den Methylidenmalonsäuredinitrilen16.‐Michael‐ Addition von Nitromethan an12und14führt zu den 1,3‐Dinitropropanen13und15, Reduktion von16zu den Methylenmalonsäuredinitrilen17.‐ Umsetzungen der Indole3mitn‐BuLi/Phenylsulfonylchlorid führen zu den 3‐Chlorindolen18, Reaktion mit NaH/Ethyliodid sowie Etherspaltung und Acylierung zu den Acetoxyderivaten19.‐ Verbindungen7–11, 14–17und19zeigen eine Affinität zum Estrogenrezeptor. AbstractDie Iodbestimmung nach Brit. 1993 bzw. USP 1990 entspricht den Originalangaben vonSchöniger2,3)und ist einfacher und schneller durchführbar als die Iodbestimmung nach Ph.Eur.2/DAB 10. AbstractThe influence of the oligoamine RE 1492 on the deformability ofRedBloodCells (RBCs) was measured with the micropipette aspiration technique and the capillary rigidometer. The maximal cell flow resistance (MCFR) and the apparent elastic membrane shear modulus μ were increased by 45% at RE 1492 concentrations>10 μmol/L. There was a decrease of the surface/volume ratio of 6% at RE 1492 concentrations of 25 μmol/L. The qualitative analysis of the polypeptide pattern of membranes and extracted membranes of human RBCs suggests that the reduction of deformability is due to an increased affinity of skeletal proteins to the cytosolic part of the membrane. Abstract6‐(4‐Chlorophenyl)‐7‐phenyl‐2,3‐dihydro‐1H‐pyrrolizines with functional groups at position 5 of the heterocyclic moiety were synthesized and tested. To determine their antiinflammatory activity bovine blood was used as enzyme source for the cyclooxygenase and 5‐lipoxygenase, respectively. The iminoxy acetic acid derivative and the iminotetrazole selectively inhibit the 5‐lipoxygenase, all the other compounds show medium or low affinity to the active sites of cyclooxygenase and 5‐lipoxygenase. In general all compounds inhibit 5‐lipoxygenase more effectively than cyclooxygenase. Concerning the inhibition of 5‐lipoxygenase the most active compounds found are equipotent to the corresponding propionic acid compounds, but they aren't well balanced dual inhibitors as shown for the carboxylic derivatives. Abstract1‐Arylpiperazines and their 4‐alkyl derivatives, which contain a terminal amide fragment, produce a variety of pharmacological effects and behavioral responses which result directly from activation of different central receptor systems. Previously we showed that derivative1had a higher 5‐HT1Aaffinity than its isomeric isoquinolinone counterparts. We also concluded that the specific arrangement of the amide bond for compound1was definitely favorable at 5‐HT1Areceptors. Our recent studies have shown that compound5is a potent antagonist of 5‐HT1A, 5‐HT2and D2receptors, and may be considered a novel atypical antipsychotic agent.
