AbstractWe describe a method to determine the affinity constant values between Ketoprofen and β‐cyclodextrin and hydroxypropyl‐β‐cyclodextrin in semisolid vehicles. The method is based on the diffusion of the drug, released from semisolid vehicles, through a lipidic non porous membrane. AbstractFree‐radical reaction of different carbohydrate educts 2, 5, and 7 with acrylonitrile in the presence of tributyltin hydride and a radical initiator (AIBN) gave the methyl 3‐(2‐cyanoethyl)‐2,3‐dideoxypentofuranosides 3a and 6. Similar reaction of 2 with methyl acrylate gave 3‐(2‐methoxycarbonylethyl>‐2,3‐dideoxypentofuranose 3b. Nucleoside coupling of 3a with silylated uracil gave an anomeric mixture of β‐ and α‐nucleoside 8 and 9 which were deprotected to give 10 and 11, respectively. Similar reaction of 3b with silylatedN4‐isobutyrylcytosine gave 12 and 13 which were deprotected to give the final nucleosides 16 and 17, respectively. AbstractThe preparation of a novel series of quinoxaline‐substituted 1,4‐dihydropyridines is described. Thus, the reaction of 1 with acetoacetates in the presence of ammonia leads to dialkyl 2,6‐dimethyl‐4‐(quinoxaline‐1,4‐dioxid‐2‐yl)‐1,4‐dihydropyridine‐3,5‐dicarboxylates 2a‐g. Compounds 4a‐c are obtained as by‐products. The asymmetrically substituted dihydropyridines 3a‐d are prepared from 1, acetoacetates, and 3‐aminocrotonates. AbstractDieMichael‐Addition von Nitroalkanen an Etacrynsäure 1 liefert die γ‐Nitroketone 2, 3 und 10. Aus diesen werden durch KMnO4‐Oxidation in Gegenwart von MgSO4die 1,4‐Dicarbonylverbindungen 6 und 9 sowie das 1,4,7‐Triketon 11 dargestellt. 2 reagiert mit KMnO4/Borax zur γ‐Ketocarbonsäure 5. 5 ist auch durch Addition von HCN an 1 umd saure Hydrolyse des gebildeten Nitrils 4 zugänglich.
