The speakers will present the background to particular issues and explain the analytical problems involved, many of which require further work. Both formal lectures and posters will be included in the programme. Poster presenters will be able to summarize their findings in a ‘one minute lecture’ in a session at the end of the meeting; discussion will be allowed after each full and ‘one minute’ lecture. The speakers will be Mark Daly (Shefield City Council Environmental Health Department), Richard H. Brown (Health and Safety Executive, Sheffield), Terry Jefferies (University of Bath), Mike Comber (Zeneca Environmental Laboratory, Brixham), Juel Harries @rune1 University) and Malcolm R Clench (Sheffield Hallam University). For further information concerning the meeting please contact Dr. D. Crowther, Chemistry Division, Sheffield Hallam University, Pond Street, Sheffield S1 1WB.
